Alright, that fv<king sucked. Definitely hurts. A lot.

Down 3-1 sucks. But thinking about it in a good light, the Spurs played a poor game tonight. Their biggest problem was not being able to grab rebounds. The good news is that the Spurs are usually a very good defensive rebounding team. Percentage-wise, they are one of the best teams of all-time on the season. The Spurs can rebound better.

Offensively, the Spurs can shoot better. Ginobili can step up is game. Barry proved he can play against these guys. Parker and Duncan get their looks.

This is obviously going to be the hardest challenge the Spurs have ever faced but I like the fact that this team always plays its best when their backs are against the wall. It's hard to keep the faith but I refuse to count the Spurs out.

Oh and the Lakers aren't that good. Don't get me wrong, they're a solid ball club. But far from unbeatable. Save your season by winning Game 5. Do that and the Spurs won't lay another egg at home in Game 6.

Sh!t sucks right now but championships aren't easy. Start it off with a Game 5 victory.

This was a very game 5 vs Hornets esque game.

I fully expect a damn good effort thursday night. Hopefully Ginobili can make his shots, Barry starts, and Pop pulls his head out of his butt.

Regardless of the outcome of this series (which I still believe we have every chance in the world left in us), we have to remember that these guys never gave up. Game 1 vs. the Suns. 0-2 hole vs Hornets. Down 9 with 3 mins to go in this game. Be proud of what they have done. Be proud that they came back to within 2. All it takes is one win to get this series back on track. Remember the Red Sox. Remember 2006 (albeit with a different outcome, please ).

This reminds me of after .4, I think the Spurs will play decent for about a quarter in a half but I seriously don't see them being compe ive come the 4th quarter, especially since they are pretty much a 2 starter team (Duncan and Parker) and 1 bench player (Barry) doing anything this series...

I don't think the Spurs have a chance but I hope they actually play with heart and don't repeat the 2001 travesty.

I thought the same thing. These aren't the same purple and gold from the early 2000s. They have holes in their ship. Unfortunately the Spurs are tired as and to complete the analogy, now have significant amounts of water in their boat.

No team is unbeatable but the Spurs looked gassed.

Ginobili didn't have it all game and Parker and Duncan was wore down in the 4th.

One has to have serious doubts if there is anything left in the tank.

I do agree the Spurs can beat the Lakers. But the problem is the scheduling. Not sure how much they have left in the tank to be able to come back and win 3 straight against this young team. Duncan looked absolutely gased in the 4th quarter tonight, what do you think happens to him in 3 games?

That being said, Finley, Udoka, Horry have done this series so they should have plenty of gas in them.

I told myself before game 4 that if we lost, it was over...
But I can't help but believe the Spurs can still come back.

If they come out with the correct at ude on Thursday, and steal a game in L.A., then it will go 7 games. I hope they don't lay another egg.

I think what hurts more than anything is the fans and probably the Spurs feel they should be up 3-1 or should be 2-2 at the worst. But the reality is they're down 1-3.

I'm looking for a complete 48 minutes performance on Thursday.

You might as well just pin this at the top because
no later than 2 mins and its at the very bottom of the first page.

I'm in and I fully stand by this team.
It's simple really, if the spurs can't win in L.A on Thursday, then
they dont deserve to go to the finals.
But I KNOW we can win, thats whats really pissing me off!
