I remember the many laughs I enjoyed watching the Carol Burnett show. A true classic.
RIP. Thanks for the memories.
Harvey Korman of ‘Carol Burnett Show’ dies
LOS ANGELES - Harvey Korman, the tall, versatile comedian who won four Emmys for his outrageously funny contributions to “The Carol Burnett Show” and on the big screen in “Blazing Saddles,” died Thursday. He was 81.
Korman died at UCLA Medical Center after suffering complications from the rupture of an abdominal aortic aneurysm four months ago, his family said in a statement released by the hospital.
His daughter, Kate Korman, said in the statement that it was a “miracle” that her father had survived the aneurysm at all, and that he had several major operations.
He and Tim Conway worked so well together. I miss that kind of comedy.

RIP. Thanks for the memories.
Here is one of his greatest scenes ever:

That completes the trilogy:
The guy from Rowan and Martin
Sydney Pollack
Harvey Korman
"the guy from Rowan and Martin"
that is funny![]()
Seriously though, Harvey Korman dying sucks. This is no joke. He was funny and great comedic actor.
Hey sunshine...what color is Grant's white horse?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers Harvey.
Harvey kicked ass.
Make God laugh, bro.![]()
Harvey was good at comedy. What he was bad at was keeping a straight face and himself in character when in a sketch with Tim Conway. TC always got him to laugh.
RIP Harvey Korman.
I too remember watching the Carol Burnett show, TC did make it hard for HK to keep a straight face in many skits..![]()
RIP....
I liked him as Count De Monet in History of the World Part 1.
to the guy who stole the show in Blazing Saddles
sorry to screw this up, but i thought Slim Pickens did that hands down.
"somebody's got go back and get a load of dimes"
truly great.
Classic!
amen brother amen
"That's HED-LEY!"
He was funny as in the Carol Burnett Show, but I also loved his performances in the Mel Brooks movies.
He was a true talent.
R.i.p.![]()
Any time Tim Conway cracked him was an instant classic because you could tell he was fighting it so hard. Thanks for all the laughs, and rest in peace.
That would always crack me up more than anything else.
The closest anyone got to that was Chirs Farley acting the fool and going overboard while David Spade and Victoria Jackson buried their faces into their shirts because they couldn't stop laughing during the "Motivational Speaker" skit on SNL. Even Phil Hartman was fighting off the laughter.
