Officially ours was a Rough Rider, but at all of the football games, etc... they always carried around a Big Stick. To Rough Ride, I guess.
I agree with the Unicorns, but what about a Mule? ( Alamo Heights ) or Fredericksburg Battlin Billies?

I went to Mac, so I was a brahma. Not really a stupid mascot, but sort of pretentious. It's a bull, but we wanted to be special. We did it up big with our mascotting. There was a kid in a bull costume (complete with the hump on the shoulders distinctive to the breed), plus the huge fiberglass brahma with air tank rigged so it shot steam out the nostrils, and finally, someone dressed as Douglas MacArthur rocking a corncob pipe to run the flag.
