    I actually am. Not that it even matters because whoever they draft is not likely to impact this team at all. Its gonna take a few seasons to get anything consistant out of someone drafted late in the first round. I love how this board thinks they can land an instant spark and right away this so and so will get major minutes. The probability of that is laughable.

    I would love to see a reasonable slant on things. Young talent who would actually be close to the team or on it. Expect good things by late season 2 and/or season 3. No I don't count Ian. That guy is so far off the chart its ridiculous. I would be lighting cigars if Ian gave this team 4 and 2 next year.

    I hope they can land a good prospect, for sure...i just hope they dont piss away their picks like they did last year...


    F all this gamble on euro players who never see the court..such a waste...Yes it did pay off twice, i will definately give them that...but i think we about ran out of luck on that front, especially now that everyone mills the euro leagues so much more now that we exposed it.

    I actually have high hopes for this draft...but i had high hopes for the last draft too...i guess it wastn the spurs fault that it fell through, but regardless, its disapointing.

    We have a trade. The San Antonio Spurs send the rights to their 26th pick along with GM RC Buford and Assistant GM Dennis Lindsey to the Houston Rockets for Luis Scola and cash.

    Spurs FO are cheap bas s, they didn't want pay $1mil a year just to bring someone in and see how they might be good enough to play. They intentionally drafted all these international prospects so they never have to pay a dime!

    Brilliant!

    Instead they spend veteran minimum on player like Brent Barry and Michael Finley. ing brilliant! And they will probably get another Tony or Manu in the second round where they are dirty cheap!
