Hmm iintriguing thoughts. Can we play with 5 forwards and no PG?![]()
seems like heats looking for a pg and duncans looking to retire soon....is it easier to build around a pg or a big man
just throwing this out there
Hmm iintriguing thoughts. Can we play with 5 forwards and no PG?![]()
i assume we are unloading a lot
beasley can be built around
TP aint a true PG anyways. hes an undersized SG.
would heat take parker to work along side dwade
would this be another one of...
robinson
duncan/robinson
duncan
beasley/duncan
....
I would give Parker + #26 for the 2nd pick right now. Beasley would keep the Spurs compe ive for many years after Duncan retires, assuming he would want to stay...
can we give them expiring contracts also haha
TP is like my avatar... "Spur Forever"
TP for Beasley str8 up is giving up too much for the spurs. Beasley and Hinrich maybe.
No way -- Beasley may be a bust ala Marcus Fizer.
Compe ive? Maybe.
Championship contenders? Once Duncan's gone, not likely.
Why break up a team capable of contending now for the potential to perhaps make the second round of the playoffs later on?
you should see spurs attendence nowadays when we are contending for a championship year after year.....imagine if we were not
I know it would be risk in the short term but I am thinking 4-5 years down the road. Once the current championship window is closed, I don't think we will have alot to look forward to and opportunities to draft someone with as much upside as Beasley may not come around again.
didnt know hinrich was on the miami heat
Didn't know the Heat have already drafted Beasley
close sources apparently from bulls say they are drafting rose...on top of that, miami heat dont want beasely and want a PG bc they think they can convince boozer to opt out of his contract and sign with them in a year
parker/wade/boozer
manu/beasly/duncan
Finals MVP for a potential All Star who hasn't yet played in the NBA. Hmm tough one.
That's the only thing that would work cap wise but I wouldn't do it. Kirk is just bipolar.
You never trade a PG or a center in their primes.
Beasley = less talented Boozer
No way. Parker is almost guaranteed to be a top point guard for the next 6-8 years.
Would you trade the #26 pick for Kyle Lowry?
