Yes, it's doable. Spurs can trade Manu for him.

More seriously, I don't think Rodriguez is in Portland's long term plan.
He could be available for Spurs trade exception.

With the way Manu played against Lakers, I doubt he can fetch more than Sergio Rodriguez.

Rudy is probably as talented as Ginobili offensively. His D doesn't seem to be as good but he has a lot of similiar attributes and skills at the International level. Elite quickness, great scoring, passing etc... Also has the highest PER in the Spanish League by FAR.

Looks like a Ginobili/Kevin Martin type of talent. Well maybe thats as good as he could end up being, but he also could end up as the next Sasha Vujacic as NBAdraft.net claims....

But yeah the guy does have that Ginobili caliber of talent.

Outlaw should be less available than Rodriguez. Rodriguez was in the doghouse this year and Outlaw played a lot.
If I remember well, McMillan doesn't like him because he is too crazy on the court.
However, you had to wonder two things :
First, if Rodriguez playing style is too wild for McMillan, won't he be too wild for Pop ?
Second, Portland is said to do against some moves this summer. Dumping Rodriguez won't be a priority for them and he could end up as trade filler in a big deal.

    Exactly.

Sergio might comeback to Spain next season, he isn't very happy in Portland.

PS: In my opinion, Navarro is better than Rudy. He's a bit crazy on the court too. But he can improve his game.

The trade filler part is exactly right. Pritchard is after an elite point guard and wants to package a group of guys together to get one.

Portland's big problem is roster space. Depending on who and how many they draft, I can see either Jarret JAck or Sergio getting moved. Both would be fine for the Spurs. If Pritchard can't package them together, then he'll deal one of them before they have to commit to 15--and, obviously, he can't take players back unless he's looking at a 2 or 3 for 1.

Rodriguez is probably available but I'm not sure the Spurs really need Jason Williams redux. Besides, Rodriguez's value right now mostly resides in helping Fernandez adjust to the NBA since the two are friends.

I live in Portland and watch lots of Blazers games. Rodriguez doesn't get much PT because he's a defensive liability. So he won't fit on the Spurs system.

A perfect fit for backup PG (from Portland) would be Jarret Jack. He's an above average defender, has good size (6'3") and provides instant offense.
