Why is it everytime fisher gets away with something in san antonio that his teams loses in the finals. In 2004 it was the .4 shot, which is physically impossible, and now it was the foul that was never called. He derserves the losses he is now recieving.

So it happened twice (most recent being a stretch) and that makes it undeniable inevitability?

I think, the league just wants 3 old washed up career losers to win, and stop crying about losing.

Cheating is going a bit far, but it is no stretch at all in saying that "Fisher got away with a foul on Barry" - even the league admitted as much.

As far as the inevitablity - it's 100% thus far.

how about, since 2004, the team that beats the Spurs in the playoffs.....loses in the Finals....it has happened 3 times now.

BTW, not just do they lose, they look downright atrocious and pathetic in doing so.

it would be interesting to see how often the team that beat the Spurs in the playoffs, made it to the NBA Finals.....and how many times the team won vs losing.

I know the 3 I just stated....along with Portland in 90. That makes 4 losses. The Rockets beat us in 95 and won, as did the Lakers in 01 and 02....so that is 3 wins. I am not sure, but I think when Washington beat us, they lost to Seattle.....

Ha! I always thought Silas looked like a partier. Do you have any juicy stories/tidbits?

1998: Howard Eisley, Ron Harper, and Byron Russell shenanigans in Game 6 were all karma for the mailman's special delivery concussion. I have always hated Karl Malone, that er deserved all the disappointments he got. ass softies like Amare and David West need to study some bball history before they throw the word "dirty" around anymore.
