How Can I Transfer Stuff From My Old Cell Phone To My New One?

I'm talking games, ringtones, ext........... There has to be a way. I don't believe the sales guy when he told me that you can't. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Different phones might use different types of files for their applications, but I would assume that phones from the same manufacturer would use the same file types. So if your old phone is a Samsung and so is your new one, there should be a way. If your old phone is a Samsung and your new one is a LG, it may not work.
