In real life, Kumar is a college professor that has never smoked weed.
Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay may be funnier than the time they went to White Castle. The same low humor prevails, the highlight for me is a bottomless party, with plenty of hot babes present.
The two heroes have been mistaken for terrorists, escape from the infamous Guantanamo Bay prison, and finally travel to Texas to gain their freedom from the charges. The real joy of this slacker/stoner story is lampooning the conservative power structure of America today, be it the over-profiling of Homeland Security or the hypocritical lawmakers who smoke the stuff but jail those others who do. (funniest scene is smoking weed with "W" at his Crawford ranch) Neal Patrick Harris again co-stars as himself, and the scenes with him are funny as , including a trip to a Texas house. If you demand your base humor be as low as it can go, you'll laugh as I did and wonder at your taste, as I do.![]()

Harold dressed as an Emo Korean.![]()
That was disappointing. The first was 10x funnier.
The second was funnier, Harold as the emo kid was in hilarious.
I downloaded it and have yet to watch it.
This was much funnier than the first... NPH trippin on mushrooms while talking to a state trooper... hahaha, I loved it.
Dude, you have to get the DVD extras version of the White Castle movie.
They follow the sound guy who hides in truck station restrooms with a boom mike to try and get realistic sounds for the "battle " scene.
