Check back in later tonight for the GTs.
Go to sleep. Don't you have to be up at 4:30 for your show?
P.S.
I thought you already conceded![]()
Didn't get to watch the game tonight. Watched the Damn Fiesta Bowl
Can anyone give me a coherent breakdown of the game, so that I can steal material from here like I always do for the show.
TimVP...
Please break it down in common terms that I can easily act like I thought of it myself...
I.E...(Manu just looked healthy tonight...etc)
Much thanks!
PS....TimVP, if you help. I concede the rap battle from 2005 in the Classic Thread.

Parker's 3 there at the end was HUGE.
Anthony Tolliver's block, then possession, then dunk, was highlight ESPN worthy.
Didn't he went 8/8 from 3 pt territory?
Poor Peter, people are going to fill this thread with misinformation for him
Pete - in exchange for stealing timvp's game thoughts (again), you have to mention SpursTalk 8 times on the air tomorrow![]()
You can just watch the ESPN highlights tonight:
- DWade with the basket and 1
- DWade with the steal and the dunk
- DWade with the blocked shot
- DWade with the three pointer
- Manu's blocked shot
- Spurs win
True, but Bob Delaney's shoulder still might have been the most important play of the game.
I'm not sure if the best DWhistle move was when he elbowed Bowen and got the continuation And 1 or when he shouldered into Bowen and got the continuation And 1 . . .
by far the shoulder, knocking Bowen into Ft Lauderdale, and the and 1.
Probably plays 3 and 5 on tonight's Sportscenter Top 10...
Sorry, I just hate the ESPN hype...
Wade played f**king 45 mins.
Thats what he gets for not watching the game....
Me...Tolliver IS AWESOME!!!
TOLD YA'll....
Spurs did their best to trap Wade, deny and contest his shots from multiple people. Wade needed 26 shots to get 24 points. It was a low foul game, 22 total fouls, 10 for the Spurs and 12 for the Heat. Close game with the Spurs holding the lead the majority of the time. Wade stole a Parker entry and took it the other way for a layup, except Manu came out of nowhere to block Wade's leaning layup and Mason ended up nailing a corner two for the play of the game. It was a 4 (or 5) point turnaround that should be the #1 highlight of the night/week. George Hill nailed 3 treys and played with more confidence, getting to the line and scoring 15 in 17 minutes. Hill>Chalmers.
Solid D...I don't care what SequSpur says about you. You're good people.
And you are right...I did concede the battle to you...but it was epic.
Oh, yeah and let's not forget the solid play of Matt Bonner at both ends of the floor. 11 points 5 rebounds were okay, but his help on traps and hedges were key to the defense tonight.
Just saw the Sportscenter review of the game:
- DWade dunk from Chalmers
- Cue in a Heat logo with DEFENSE written over it, followed by a DWare steal on TP for a Marion layup.
- Chalmers steal followed by Marion dunk
- DWade dunk from Finley's turnover
- Marion dunk off intercepted pass from Hill
- DWade and 1 off Bowen's shoulder
- Manu open court run and layup
- Manu block
- TP final drive to seal game
Link to said battle, please!!!!!
T PArk...Good job this morning. Well Done.
And the Battle is in the Classic Thread under UTSAGOLFPB
If you like Rap...It's pretty good.
Be sure you mention the bench clearing brawl in the third quarter. And the stabbing in the fourth.
I mentioned that this morning Solid
Bonner's defense on Beasley down the stretch was downright fantastic. Shoving him out of the post and closing off his moves to the basket were absolutely textbook. Bravo to Matty for a game well played last night. It also looks like his rebounding has stepped up as well.
Thanks, I was gonna expand on George Hill a tad, but Andy went diva on me.
BUT HEY, its your guy's show, and Andy is alot smarter on the game than I, so that was no problemo.
