's depressing if your a Portland fan but, hey, what else would one expect anyways??
The "consulting surgeon" whispers that he believes the best-case strategy for handling Roy is this: A) Limit Roy's practice reps to almost nothing; B) Play him off the bench in 65-75 or so games a season, choosing rest in key spots; C) pray. Surgeon suspects the Blazers might get 1-2 years out of Roy employing this strategy. Right now, I think they'd take that, and hope for the best. Roy is a fierce compe or and I won't count him out.

Depending on how you read that, it can be a bit contradicting.

Damn shame. Such a talented player who isn't a diva. It seems that combination is harder & harder to come by.
Not a diva?

Trail Blazers shooting guard Brandon Roy dislikes playing with backcourt mate Andre Miller so much that he told the team’s front office that either he or Miller should be traded, ESPN.com reported. The website paraphrases Roy as telling Blazers management, “This is not going to work, so you should trade one of us. Whether it’s him or whether it’s me, somebody needs to be traded because this is not going to work.”
boy that decision to come back early against the suns in a meaningless playoff series is now dooming his career.
Grant Hill 2.0. Makes me thankful as that Pop is coaching the Spurs and didn't run Duncan out in the Phoenix series in 2000.
yeah, yeah.
that's what probably 29 "doctors" said about Dejuan.
IMO he could have a limited but decent career still...
