She did the right thing tbh. Has Trump committed treason? You bet your ass he is guilty of treason and committing war crimes via Israel and the Saudis just like most of his predecessors such as Obama, Clintons, Bush's and Reagan.

But given how Bill Clinton's ratings skyrocketed after impeachment, I would have done the same if I was in Tulsi's position.

This impeachment crap does NOTHING to sway independent or apolitical people your way, if anything it does the contrary.

Correction: Tulsi could also have voted yes on impeachment but call out Trump's treasonous war crimes and loyalty to a foreign nation by putting the interests of Israel first over Ameican interests. Of course she would probably get shot and called an "anti-semite" by both Republicans and Democrats.

if she was against impeachment she should have just voted that way. sitting on the fence during a vote of this magnitude is completely weaksauce... which is definitely not a way i'd usually describe her

Not familiar with this woman... is she a Republican?
    hyper liberal with policy positions

but functions as a republican nowadays in that she spends more of her time bashing the dems than anything (see regular fox appearances). its like those leftist commentators that spend 95% of the time complaining about SJWs

Treason with Israel and the Saudis is a much better argument for impeachment tbh. But none of this impeachment crap should have happened in the first place. This was political suicide by the Dems.

I can understand why Tulsi did what she did. She didn't wanna piss off and alienate her Trump supporter and independent cons uents.

thats just your take and repeating it wont make it a general fact

IMO she was the bravest soul out there taking a stand against these partisan shenanigans. both options were anjoke just like both options in 2016 election were a joke

    proud of you my dear

keep it up and keep triggering both libs and rednecks

Gabbard said she is "standing in the center" with her present votes. "I could not in good conscience vote against impeachment because I believe President Trump is guilty of wrongdoing," she said. "I also could not in good conscience vote for impeachment because removal of a sitting President must not be the culmination of a partisan process, fueled by tribal animosities that have so gravely divided our country."

Gabbard, who is not running for reelection in Congress, has been all over the map on impeachment since the process began. In October, she appeared on Sean Hannity's Fox News show to criticize the lack of transparency of Democrats' impeachment process. “I don't know what's going on in those closed doors,” she said. This week, she introduced a resolution that would censure Trump, rather than impeach him. In her statement Wednesday night, she said the resolution would "send a strong message to this president and future presidents that their abuses of power will not go unchecked,

But given how Bill Clinton's ratings skyrocketed after impeachment
    you're full of

"Clinton's job approval rating ranged from 36% in mid-1993 to 64% in late 1993 and early 1994.

In his second term, his rating consistently ranged from the high-50s to the high-60s.

After his impeachment proceedings in 1998 and 1999,

Clinton's rating reached its highest point at 73% approval."

So Clinton "skyrocketed" a few points

Trash has NEVER sniffed 50% approval, and I bet he never will.

Yeah you don't need her anyhow.
You're right, the DNC doesn't need 15 candidates at this point, and someone polling consistently around 0.0% should be out of the field by now. But a serious run for the nomination isn't her MO.

when did Dems call Tulsi a foreign asset in grooming? link?

Hillary said Repugs, not Russians, were grooming Tulsi to run as Russian-Asset-Jill-Stein 3rd party spoiler

Voting present certainly would be useful prerequisite for a 3rd party run, but how many votes could she pull away from a Dem candidate?

Jill Stein ran as a greenie, Tulsi has nothing, but pro-gun and pro-forced-life.

    Or John McCain
eh, mccain had his gripes with the GOP platform but was still largely conservative

mccain was generally in favor of lowering taxes (as long as accompanied with decreased spending, a core conservative position), favored financial deregulation, privatization of social security, opposed publicly funded healthcare, strongly opposed abortion, generally opposed gun control except for things like background checks, opposed gay marriage, and was a one of the hawks

he did tend to clash with the GOP on issues like global warming and immigration... and wasnt generally an asshole like many of them. but policy wise, tulsi is farther left than most democrats, whereas mccain was just farther left than most republicans
