his minutes are trending upwards ... now he needs to play even more besides Demar and not only as his subs ute
Yea, he was able to pass Carroll.
Bryn Forbes 3rd in minutes with more than 25.
He works hard and is full of enthusiasm.
At least Patty is "a leader".
Forbes with more minutes that DJ and White is criminal
typo in le
demar is 1st in minutes
Oh. I see what you did there.
How is DeMarre sitting at 9.0 min a game is what I wanna know
because his minute average is calculated by games that he played and most of the time he doesn't get on the court at all
Since December 1st he’s averaging 16 MPG with four straight games with 19 or more minutes, hopefully the trend continues. Marco is still averaging 15 points since December 1st but has three DNP-CD, Lonnie has one against Dallas in that span.
Last time I checked, the underrated star of our team is 3rd in minutes.
I’ll take “Additional reasons why fans want Popovich to retire” for $600, Alex.
Maybe we should make another stupid thread about it.

Yep, cute little guy...
Why are you jumping the gun on minutes played when we haven't even reached half the season yet? It's clear by now that Pop has an overarching plan regarding Lonnie's development, and at this point I don't think anyone can seriously say it isn't working out. Pop has for sure been on some questionable decisions this and past seasons, but he knows how to develop his players. For some, it's the "get out on the court and sink/swim" treatment, and for some it's more like building up their inner fire making them watch from the sideline.
There is an obvious trend upwards in Lonnie's mpg, and he's been making the most of them whilst taking the DNP-CDs in high stride. This is a non-issue right now and I wouldn't be surprised to see him start/close games regularly post ASB/season's end. Not everything has to be instant gra ude, unearned playing time kind of .
There is no real star player on this Spurs team tbh.
Pop Nazis love to talk about de Fuhrer's master plan.
That's all nonsense. Play the man. Stop pretending this star is below the level of scrubs. FFS
And yea, it's seriously not working out. We have way more L's than we should have.
He's overrated by dense new age fans. Get over it
Certainly didn't earn much playing time with tonight's performance. Just as he needed a few good performances to get more rotation minutes, he needs a few better performances now to move into the main squad. I already said Pop's making a lot of mistakes this season, which have contributed to the W/L that we see; I was only referring to Lonnie there. And he needs more playing time, when he's good, and needs more benching time, when he's bad. Just like Forbes should get if he wasn't a pet, we agree on that all right.
Star? Lonnie is no star and tonight should bring idiots like you back to earth. 5pts on 20% shooting which is par the course for Lonnie as he’s very inconsistent. He’s inconsistent and he’s not even the focal point of the defense, yet he has more bad games than good. Kawhi left, get over it
Nobody's claiming he's consistent, especially when he's on Gregg's line. Give the man his minutes.
Stop pussyfooting around and giving away the bulk of the star's minutes to lesser thans.
He's a star; that's happening. Why does this bother you and Gregg? Are you guys showing the fans about Kawhi, like you said?
