This is the guy y'all wanna extend? He can't even beat the bulls, and he choked in crunch time... Imagine the playoffs... He will have a mental breakdown........ Again
yeah shaking up the head coach would be enough tbh, but won't happen

Yup winners close out games, Mamba, Manu
But do you want Pop doing the shaking?
Lavine, Markkanen, Otto Porter, Coby White, Thad Young, Dunn, Satoransky are all better than 80% of the Spurs roster
DDR is the worst good player in the league
More like 95%
Just brutal. DeRozan played a great game, but he’s been flat out awful in crunch time for the vast majority of the year. Lavine sinks both after an aggressive drive. DeRozan shrinks after a lucky bail out.
DeRozan carries the team....but........ still lost.
If, and that’s a big if, they were to maintain their leads in the last three games and they would have been in the middle of a six game win streak. However, they suck at rebounding and defending the 4th quarter.
Blessing in disguise with these losses. Spurs are nowhere near a playoff team. Forget the streak, this team doesn’t need to be rewarded for their roster construction. No one is untouchable imo.
can't blame DeRozan for playing alongside a bunch of G-League scrubs. This Spurs team has 2 good players.
I love it, they should definitely be firmly in the lottery after the upcoming rodeo road trip. Pop is honestly such a broken man at this point that I think he has to retire....
The loss wasn't really on him but was there a single one of you that actually thought Derozan wouldn't choke hard on those FTs?Shame if so.....
you're catching on. it only took you a season and a half.

Sums up the entire season well actually lol
I mean after the Bulls went up 6 he single handedly brought them back. Carried them all game too. That doesn't count?
He's averaging 25+ on 55% shooting while shouldering most of the playmaking since LMA started shooting 3s. He's not the problem. He needs help.
Seems like almost every game this season includes Spurs either completing a comeback from a big deficit or allowing a comeback from a big lead.
Pop will blame this on LaMarcus being out and play the same group against Utah. He probably thinks they can still make the playoffs once they learn his overrated "system"
I still want to trade him, tbh. He’s playing well but there’s no future for this team with him on it. He needs to be on a team that has a chance at making the playoffs. Same with LMA. I think it’s time to blow it up.
Simply subs uting Lonnie for Forbes would take this team to the playoffs. Waiving Lyles and playing Carroll would help too.
Bull . Wasn't a bailout. Defender didn't give him room to come down. That's been a foul all year. If anything Lavine's foul call was more of a bailout. That whistle was late af.
That's only for a "reglar" shot, when the ball is put into play from the sideline. Even then, if there is .3 or less, you can still make a tap-in or a direct dunk.
I honestly don't know how they would have ruled that shot by DeMar, but he could have tapped it in or sure. I think what he did would have been good unless they called that mandatory .3 runoff.
That would be Andrew Wiggins.
I hope he keeps thinking that way and that this team keeps losing.
