Spurs lose tonight and they'll be 4 games back of Memphis for 8th, technically 5 games back because of the tie breaker with 30 games left.

I don’t think he traveled with the team for the RRT he wasn’t in LA for both of the games.

This is like the Kawhi situation but in reverse. I mean, for real, wth is going on?

This franchise is going backwards fast. Not just on the court, but off.

can't wait for the team to move to another city and then the narrative will be "Once Popovich retired the franchise crumbled and couldn't stay in San Antonio"

This season is a wash anyways buyout Carroll, glue Marco to the bench along with Forbes..which would never happen and play the young kids. I’d like to see Keldon start getting some spot minutes.

Pop's a liberal but even Demarre was too flamboyant for him.

Probably got Rodman vibes from Demarre. The PTSD kept Pop awake at night.

The Carroll situation will always be strange to me. He had to have been pulling some Stephen Jackson in practice. Probably wasn't gonna tolerate Pop's bull of sabotaging the season and didn't "fall in line." Or probably couldn't stand seeing Brent Forms look like a G-Leaguer getting the 3rd most touches every game.

Lol the pussy front office begging Pop to come back this season only for the whole situation to fall flat on its face.

This is essentially a must-win for the Spurs tonight IMO, I'm expecting a vintage Pop coaching performance. He'll have them playing hard tonight.

I admire your optimism, but nothing points to a vintage Pop game. They can play hard but if he plays Forbes his 25 minutes Spurs have no shot.

what makes things even weirder is that the dude seems like such a good guy

he's always tweeting about being grateful, and being blessed, and wanting to work hard. isn't all that a recipe for a player pop would love? like, seriously, wtf?

You guys are still looking at it wrong. They'll be 2.5 games behind Sacramento for 13th.

Sean just said that knowing they were all here going forward after the trade deadline passed, they would play even harder.
