Well...dont know about you, but when I played sports in high school and college workouts were pretty strenuous. Deep inhales, deep exhales on lots of equipment. Perfect scenario to leave virus on vinyl and metal surfaces that can survive for the next 50 people that use the same machines. Do you know the 35th person before you that used the bench press?
I don't have a job. You don't have the balls to do what I do. But hey, if you're interested, I can get you to "volunteer" at one of the COVID units/facilities I frequent.

If you aren't lying I commend you for whatever the you say you are doing at a covid unit. That being said, it's a ing virus that mutated from a bat. It's not old , or young, or republican, or democrat. It just knows its genetic code wants to take over healthy cells and replicate. It is what it is. We are all in this together.
The gyms that I frequent have multiple stations for sanitizer. Have you gone to the grocery during this? People walking around adjusting their masks, touching food, putting back, then readjusting their masks. No sanitizing stations.
No I do not know who was on the bench press before me. That's why I wipe it down before and after use. Do you know who the 35th person to touch the bananas and put them back.
Its all a risk. You go out, corona or not, to the grocery to the gym, to the car dealership, you may get sick because of your own poor personal hygiene.
In fact, unless somebody speaks up on you and sneezes or coughs in your face, the onus is on you. The risk we all take and have always taken every day we have been alive
