    And that is illegal.
Dunno. Might not be remembering it correctly. Wife did the managing, I just did the books, and the couple we worked for had a good lawyer advising them. It has been over a decade, so my memory is a tad fuzzy.

Interesting. I wonder how sensitive that is to states hiding nursing home deaths and cases. Looks like the social distancing and so forth we are all doing seems to have had the desired effect.

A lot of those graphs had lines for reopening, and the data hasn't been updated in about a week. Even in states have had official steps taken at reopening, a lot of people have kept hunkering down, so it will be hard to tell exactly what the effect of reopening is going to have on a consistent basis.

I am guessing that trying to return to mostly normal is going to cause a very predictable uptick in most places. Funny that solid red states seem to inhabit most of the slots on the right side of that list.

Abbott needs to follow the FL governor’s lead and not allow the actual number of cases and deaths be reported.

    Unsurprising with all those metropolises.

Do you think that Texas can just wait it out?

    What's your plan?

"AUSTIN (CBSDFW.COM) — The novel coronavirus has now directly touched the highest court in the state of Texas.

State Supreme Court Justice Debra Lehrmann and her husband have both tested positive for COVID-19.

In a tweet Lehrmann said she and her husband, Greg, started exhibiting symptoms — including fevers and body aches — last week. The pair became ill after the Justice said they had “diligently” complied with stay-at-home orders since March.

"GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) Grayson County health officials confirmed the first death related to COVID-19, a man in his 50s from Denison.

Family members told KXII in Sherman the man was a forklift operator at Tyson Foods in Sherman, where multiple employees say about 270 people have tested positive for COVID-19.

The man was feeling sick and was short of breath Tuesday morning, so he drove himself to the hospital, where he went into cardiac arrest, family members said.

He was tested last week for the virus and was still waiting for results when he died.

COVID-19 was reported as the cause of death.

Last week, the Texas Department of Emergency Management tested every worker at the plant, but employees say as results come in, the outbreak keeps growing.

"I mean today they were just coming basically as they were getting results in, they were coming and getting people and escorting them out of the building and telling them to go on a two-week quarantine," an employee who spoke with KXII on condition of anonymity said.

He was at the doctor's office to get tested again....."
