Did Portland win their scrimmage? No. I didn’t watch it but im not surprised by the result.

It's one of the biggest travesties in the NBA that Boban didn't play during the golden era of the big man. Right up there with Sabonis not being able to play his best years in the NBA or Petro's early death.
If a player of that talent and size doesn't have a place in your sport the rules need to be changed.
But wow it is refreshing to have a little bit of sports back. Good to see people acting a bit more normal. I went out today and it was just folks chatting, drinking, walking their dog, etc. Just refreshing to see people being decent and pleasant to each other, going about their business.
There were options to trade centered on picks, that meant rebuilding. Don’t be deluded. The Spurs didn’t want to rebuild they chose that trade expressly to stay compe ive...
Thanks!
ing Rudy Gay man. Says young guys deserve minutes and spotlight, then procceeds to become a black hole that forces stupid shot after stupid shot, then goes and gets cooked on the other end. And we have him signed for one more season, if I'm not mistaken. Idiot FO. Forbes getting more minutes than he deserves was a given since today was his birthday, hopefully he goes back to the bench next game (pipedream). Besides that, the game was good. The result was expected, and I was impressed with how bold the rotations were in terms of playing the young guys, together. Lonnie, White and Keldon had good outings, I especially like Keldon's motor. He also had a step-back 3 on the wing on one play, I was impressed with that. Spurs made a very good pick there and he seems to lift his teammates up with his intensity. I wasn't impressed with Dejounte's playmaking in general... He needs to get better.
Interesting that Pop isn't coaching these games... Could he be gone as soon as the start of next season?
Love, love, LOVE Keldon. I don't know what his ceiling is, but he's gonna be in the league for a long time. Lonnie flashed as well. Jak was strong. Agreed on Dejounte needing to be better at this point.
Jesus what a ing throwdown
From the looks of it Bucks at almost full strength and playing starters a good amount, while Pop experimenting with random lineups and not playing his best players
it's weird because I don't dislike DDR at all, and I was actually lowkey excited to get him.
his style of play is pure ass, for reasons I honestly still can't seem to understand. on paper it seems like he should be a good fit, positive teammate, willing passer, etc etc.
but he just aint it, cuz
lol wtf? how insecure can you be that you're butthurt someone compliments the in mavs

Giannis had 5 fouls the entirety of the second half, so he played probably at 50% or less. Pop wasn't "experimenting" with lineups... We don't have the players for it at the moment. Expect these lineups in the actual "regular season" part of this tournament.
Did typing that make you feel better? This team is trash.
All one can hope for is that during this time the youngins (DJ, White, Lonnie, Keldon) learn enough to carry over next season. Or maybe if we can showcase 1 or 2 of them for a trade, that would be great too. Its clearly unrealistic for us to trade everybody as that has never been the Spurs way, so if we stay within reality, I do think there will be a trade that will involve one young player.
There were options? Did you get hired to be an assistant GM or something and have real knowledge that thats the way it actually went down when nephew and the Spurs found out that they weren’t a fit anymore? I doubt it. Have the Spurs organization made mistakes? YES they have but im pretty sure they didn’t have as many options as a “sit on the couch basketball player/GM” thinks they had.
Is it insecure to say the Mavs, Dallas and all gits that jump in to stick up to the Mavs? THIS IS A SPURS FAN SITE.
no but who cares
The first half the team wasn’t that bad on defense, the reason they were down at the half was all the turnovers. The impressive thing was they were still pretty close at the half with all those turnovers and fast break points given up.
I didn’t finish watching the game but I seen some of the 3rd quarter and I left off where Lonnie scored 8 straight points. They were still in the game around that point and I have no clue what happened after because I didn’t finish watching the game.
I think the only reason Forbes didn’t start was due to Patty not playing so I wouldn’t be surprised if Forbes starts again once they start playin the real games. Eubanks is really bad on defense and was getting roasted when he was out there. They should go ahead and give his minutes to Luka in my opinion
I think with the leak that the salary cap will be flat and not drop, DDR is gone. I think he is only in Orlando to get the rest of his salary. He has 7 days after the end of the Spurs season to exercise his opt out, and I expect him to.
We have to see more of Luka and Poeltl regardless. Time to find out if these two, and several others on the team, are forever just average or not.
I want to see more Mezie.
Got to give credit to 43 for sticking his nose in there just to get abused
damn I’m really glad poop didn’t play this guy against the thunder in 2016 and then not decided not to pay him. our alternatives were so amazing!!
Probably could've at least grabbed some of those rebounds that flew over David West's and Aldridge's head over and over again.
