Do you actively shop for non-epidemiologists?
I'm glad things seem to be on the decline here but there is on evidence Balous land Greg learned anything the past two months.

Oregon State University researchers believe 17% of Hermiston residents were positive for COVID-19 during the university’s door-to-door testing period on July 25-26.
I just assume he is vainly trying to get my attention if he posts shortly after I do.
I am usually right. his pathetic begging for my attention amuses me greatly.
My post addressed both case counts and deaths.
Why so much hostility?
Because you have exhausted my patience, of which is in short supply these days.
I will take a deep breath and try again.
Do you understand that Texas' reported COVID death tally is absolutely under-reported?
no it isn't.
....
You are ignorant to how cases and deaths reported
RandomGuy mad because its not as serious as his math predicted. Cdc instructions to overcount cases and death to use worat case scenario. A la modeling
testing plummets in Texas, positivity rate for testing es to over 20%. the reasons aren't clear.
https://www.texastribune.org/2020/08...testing-texas/
Just under 13% here in SA.
probably more people with symptoms going for testing, while pre-symptom spreaders not gettting tested.
hole TX run by bag Repugs elected by bag Texans, backed by the bag ideologues in 5th Circuit
It's odd that some people are panicking that things aren't worse. What's up with that?
Why the is Darrin soft pedaling the current disaster in Texas?
politically expedient
It's pretty sickening. We almost had things under control then Balous just decided arbitrary dates would be the basis of reopening rather than anything remotely scientific. Hope we don't make the same mistake again. At least our mayor in Austin gave a threshold for reopening schools in person.
I only saw chumpderp's quote because you replied to it.
Is Texas really a disaster?
https://www.statista.com/statistics/...s-us-by-state/
texas (and california... newsom caved to pressure instead of leading) allowed their states to get hit in ing june. it's inexcusable.
NY/NJ didn't have the same luxury of time, information, and preparedness
Yes, it's a ing disaster, Darrin.
You put your trust in this guy so you could go to the ing bar:
Now you're acting like no one else is going to die.
We will have to be 6x worse to catch up to NJ, NY.
and until that happens the thousands of deaths in your own state just dont matter
This is your ing problem, Darrin.
All number of deaths up to NY/NJ levels are just fine with you.
Have a drink and post your "People gotta die for me. You can hide if you want." shtick.
That's not so great.
It's a pandemic. All lives matter.
Oh . Nevermind
