Bully pulpit to attack businesses perceived as politically hostile, like we do now.
https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/19/polit...ure/index.htmlPresident Donald Trump is calling on his followers to not buy Goodyear tires, despite previously railing against "cancel culture," after an employee posted a viral photo of a company policy banning "Make America Great Again" and other political attire in the workplace.
"Don't buy GOODYEAR TIRES - They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!)," he tweeted Wednesday morning.

It's kind of stupid to use that specific example in a company policy, but it's not like Goodyear is any different than 90% of other customer facing businesses. Unless you are a gun store or a shooting range, it would be pretty stupid to allow your employees to wear MAGA hats.
Hilarious what Trump and Republicans will cling to as a sign of oppression. More hilarious that people will continue to whine about how "sensitive" liberals are while defending this fuxking clown.
Dennison encouraging America to buy Chinese tires.
Looks like the only thing that got cancelled were MAGA hats and Blue lives matter.
Nice try though
Of course the Moron in chief didn't tell you that GY doesn't let their employees have pro-Biden hats either.
Keep licking those boots. You missed a speck of dog .
Classic
BLM is allowed
You both fell for a hoax.
How can you be so oblivious to your own gullibility at this point?
Not the brand I buy anyway, but I wouldn't NOT buy them over their re ed internal policy.
What's re ed about a customer facing business asking employees not to wear political clothing?
If you ran a burger chain would you let your employees wear MAGA hats or Planned Parenthood shirts?
Why are you all so anti-business all of a sudden?
Then you still have the cancel culture mentality.
He's probably pissed Goodyear is cool with racial and equity issues. As everyone knows, advocating justice for folks harmed by bigotry and promoting fairness to all is a left wing thing.
How so?
I guess we'll never know.
My bad, I read your post wrong. The double negative “wouldn’t not” threw me off.
Sorry about that. I usually buy Michelin tires.
What's so "re ed" about their internal policy?
Really?
You started the thread pal.
There's so many brands of tires. Seems like whenever I go to buy tires it's new brands I never heard of being sold anyways.
