defending champ should be mentioned in the OP tbh
This year, no do-over's like last year. You lose one game, you're out for the season, just like dying of Covid. No "covid" related excuses either.
Everyone participates. Normal rules apply. You can only pick each team up to once for the year.
Week 1 (millennial messiah):
Raiders @ Panthers , just because one team is so terribly bad and the other is competent.

and week one i'll take the Colts to win at Jacksonville
Colts over the Baguars is the only outcome I feel confident in for week 1 tbh.
I'll get down on this I guess.
Stealers over Giants
I have so much free time with this COVID that I'm considering doing it. Although I know I will forgive about this by next week, tbh.
Is this for the regular season only, or do I need to plan for the playoffs too?
oh, I thought that one ended in a tie some-how.
No fans in Jacksonville for week 1. Good call.
Hint: pretty much anyone playing versus the Panthers or Jags this year will be a good bet IMO.
no, Playoffs is a separate animal... it's only used if there's a tiebreaker needed... but the "only one team a year" doesn't apply to playoffs naturally.
Der Fuhrer Cuomo saying no fans in Buffalo for 2020 unless the pandemic is completely over by then, which it won't be. The fans are literally the only thing Buffalo has in their favor and helping them to win games at all. Their QB and HC are terrible and their record-easy schedule from 2019 isn't repeating itself in 2020. The football team going to get exposed this year for the frauds they were last year.
I actually have the Jets winning this game, though it should be close.
you make one pick per week ... doesnt require much time
and nobody makes it to the playoffs, these pools are usually over by week 10-11 latest
Instead of being out with the first mistake, it might be cool to keep a record. You still can't repeat teams but at least you won't be out of the game with the first mistake. At the end of the season, the best record wins.
survivor pools are a pretty well established format
Just throwing an option there to make it longer; don't shoot me, tbh.
Yeah I built an "out" similar to that in last year's thread and sr21 didn't like it, so this year I kept it simple, especially with COVID and all.
No one liked it, and you were the only one who used it.
Well if you have lemons you made lemonade. This year, no lemons, so we have water.
Cave "Karen" Johnson too bad, Covid infected and spoiled all the lemons for 2020
figures we're both the first out this year.
thank you
