Should have been fired on the spot, let along wait one or two days.
All Rays players should demand his resignation.
I say under 30 days. One of worst managerial decisions in MLB history. Single handedly lost the World Series when the Rays had all the momentum to force a game 7 (when all bets are off and choking Dodgers probably choke again).

He should be fired ASAP for blowing the WS to the Detroit Lions/Atlanta Falcons of the MLB.
Should be fired, but he won't be.
Modern day MLB and for that matter all pro sports owners is not about winning, rather about $$ for most organizations. Exceptions would be the Cheatstrohs, Cheatriots, Yankees, others. Legit winners St Louis Cardinals, Duncan Spurs, others. Not saying a lot of organizations don't try, just saying that many owners and management are in it strictly for the money, not winning.

Rays are a very small market team so don't expect manager change. I also don't think Snell's reaction helped the morale of the team. Shaking his head as he walked thru the dugout.
I will say Bobby Cox learned early on you rather die with your Aces. Maybe it cost him another ring or two but I think that strategy is preferred by teammates.
To the contrary the entire team should have been shaking their heads.
Would have loved to see a mutiny to keep the World Series win alive.
Snell was putting the team on his back, Bumgarner-esque. Should have let him pitch until the wheels fell off, tbh. Even the best pitchers get tagged for 1-3 runs in a given outing (Halladay, Verlander, etc). Gotta let the horse run. That was the difference in this World Series, the Dodgers manager knew who to ride (Urias) and the Rays manager panicked like a JV manager. Also Rays manager wasted an epic postseason run by Aricearoni
Literally if there ever was a time to fire a manager mid-game, that was it. Instant karma. Instant regret.
Are you ever right?
I take the road less traveled.
