Also, why hasn't team leader/best PG/best defender White spoken to the media yet??
Luka looks a bit stronger. Should bode well for him this season.

ESPN has been releasing their top 100 players heading into this year and they ranked Demar 82nd lol I understand Demar has faults but they ranked guys like Montrez Harrell, Zach Lavine, KCP, and lonzo ball ahead of him lmao
Lol...I don't even like DePression but he's definitely better than those guys, especially KCP and Lnz

ace3g those photos from the Spurs IG stories? Keldon looks PISSED OFF that he can't practice
I like the photo though. Just a Kobe/ MJ intensity in those eyes. Can't wait to unleash that beast this season...
Too bad about Keldon. Thanks for the updates and photos guys. I am excited for the season this is looking like a fun team at last, playing with a faster tempo. It’s just bad luck to have Keldon and Walker injured but I am looking forward to seeing what the new guys can do. It should be an interesting season.
Pop looking more and more like President Snow from the Hunger Games...
I swear Donald Sutherland would be a great choice for a Pop biopic...
Yep. If Mills isn't interested in coaching or anything like that, why are the Spurs still keeping him around? Get rid of him now, or as soon as possible. No need to keep him (open up more playing time for the young guys) or his salary on the team.
its starting to set in that we are about to see another year of lma/derozan/mills/gay getting significant playing time
Yeah, I was hoping he would take up a player coach role so that he will cede more playing time to the younger guys.
I read that quote as Patty not wanting to go into a full time coaching role after he retires. Seems like the type of guy who wants to just step away from the game, travel, enjoy his family, etc. like Bobo did.
I don't think he would have a problem taking more of a backseat, mentoring the young players, etc...IF that's the role Pop gives him. That's really the question.
It was encouraging that Pop hardly played him in the bubble, and only did when he was basically forced to do so. He was obviously healthy (because he did play) but I don't think they planned on doing so until injuries struck.
To me, that was a sign that Patty is willing to take a step back and let the youngsters develop.
It doesn't sound like he's looking to take a step back when he's mentioning that he was the leading scorer the Olympics. Does that seem like he's looking to take a step back? Sounds like he wants to play more and score more.

Maybe panel members factored in a year of aging?
Good. This should just motivate him more.
