One of Moscow Mitch's biggest, wealthiest allies in KY owns old folks homes with bad reps and bad covid cases for which the owner would be liable, and the owner also owns the insurers.
So Mitch blocked pandemic relief for the whole country to protect his single BigDonor by requiring any covid bill to have employer immunity from covid law suits.
Is this the real reason Mitch McConnell blocked the relief bill for months?

With Dems proposing $3T+ in the HEROES Act, I'd be very surprised if Biden screws Americans with austerity, which has proven to be an inhumane failure everywhere it has been tried.
Of course, if Repugs take one GA Senate runoff seat, then Repug austerity for Labor will be imposed (simply with no more pandemic spendng, and cuts to all kinds of non-pandemic spending), while protecting/enriching Capital.
Even if Dems sweep GA, DINO Manchin will be the power broker if Dems really try something his Fox viewers don't like.
