How do you guys usually listen to music? I grew up burning CD's off of LimeWire but those days are long gone. I'm trying to start a collection but I'm not sure where to start. Physical or digital? I'd like to keep things minimal so I'm leaning towards a smallish Bluetooth speaker or something similar. Any recommendations?
tbf I just don’t listen to music as much anymore. In the car I’ve gone back to radio stations which are pretty good in LA.
At home I fire up YouTube and listen if there’s a tune I want to listen to.
Sorry robz, probably not what you wanted to hear...
I'm pretty sure you could just buy all the Kidz Pop stuff and be happy.
KDAY still good?
Not sure I listed to 93.5, but there’s a couple of stations playing 80s hits that work for me.
The thing with LA is that once Flock of Seagulls starts playing it feels like GTA, lol
Put KDAY on and it'll feel like San Andreas
a lot of people do spotify and youtube music subscriptions these days
Yeah if there's a specific song or artist I want to listen to I just pull it up on Youtube. If I'm not that picky, there are plenty of other free streaming music platforms. I've had no reason to buy music or download mp3s in many years.
I use SiriusXm radio in the car and Amazon music at home, mainly because of Prime account discount. I am scheduled to renew the Amazon music next month at higher price so will likely try something else.
Typically I create a running list (or screenshots) of songs that catch my ear. Then I dedicate a few hours a month to ripping them either online (there are still sites especially dedicated to EDM) or off YouTube. So still MP3. I have never loaded music onto my phone storage.
I have an old iPod Touch (4th generation) which I bought a couple years ago. I use it to put workout music on, for when I run. But this requires MP3's. You would need newer generation Ipod to run current streaming apps
The streaming sites it is all about finding a station you enjoy and then likely saving songs to a MyList. I also bought an Echo Dot speaker from Amazon for $10 with account discount. Before work while I am on stationary bike and stretching, I utilize my old cellphone to stream music (and surf online, post here or Discord) connected to my WiFi while my current mobile charges.
Spotify or Pandora are the two I will decide between.

Do not do that. Creepy and unwelcome.
I just checked, childish. Was not made in this subforum though.
Thanks for all the replies, fellas. I guess I'm a little old school in wanting to "own" the song.
Yeah...I felt the same way about our maid. But times change.
Yeah unless you're collecting vinyl it's just not worth it.
Do it digitally through a service like amazon or apple. Or you can still go the pirating route which is still viable. Just be ready to dedicate a lot of space in your computer or buy yourself an extenal harddrive just for it.
I did something similar with all my porn. I purged all that and now using all those externals to keep TV shows, movies, music etc.
Go away got, last warning
Another way to go is buy one of those external speakers with USB stick support and load up sticks with MP3s...
You can buy 256GB usb sticks for cheap
Nobody gives a about you or your bull spam.
no one cares because youre a moron
the only reason no one bans you is because everyone enjoys making fun of you

Take your 10 year old grievances to the club or something. No one cares and you’re ruining the one section of the board that’s still fresh from low quality posts.
