We move soooooo sloooooooooow both on offense and defense and the team's average age is like 17 years old.

    So annoying.

Transition D continues to be a problem. As fast as they move on offense, it’s amazing that they instantly turn out of shape 15 year veteran the moment they go to defense

Lakers are the worst matchup for the Spurs. Won't really know how good this team can be until they are done playing the Lakers. 2 more horrible matchups left in the next week with the Lakers.

Dejounte's finishes have been better this year, gonna be interesting to see how he's affected by Derrick coming back soon tbh.

Lakers shots were just going in.. But I like the guys competing. I like to see Luka and Diop some minutes though when it's such a mismatched in size

This is what I mean. Yes it's trash time but Luka is playing like he's too cool for school. That kid from Duke came out firing. That's what you do when given an opportunity. Luka IS going the Metu route with his ty confidence OR him caring too much about how things look. That dude should be diving and sprinting in ANY limited time. Blows me away how some of these guy's just throw away their opportunities.

Dejounte is better if he's focused on scoring, and not being cute getting the assist

Agreed though he can be a secondary playmaker if needed. Derrick getting the lion's share of playmaking duties will be nice.

Derrick/Dejounte/Derozan/Keldon/LMA looks like it's gonna be the lineup when everyone is healthy.

Refs started calling every little contact as a foul ever since 2018 season. That’s what changed
There was a rule change in 2018, right?

I wouldn't mind if Poeltl starts instead. He plays defense better than Aldridge. If only he can make his free throws

True. But too many times completely uncontested.
Spurs help D either over does it or completely slacks too often.

Same here. Especially if Aldridge is good to go by then. One of the biggest problems were just mismatches in physicality. That and the obvious ref favoritism and the Lakers couldn’t miss if they wanted. I expect a cool down from three next game for LA

Keldon with a floater or a little mini-pull up will be nice. That's the next evolution to his offensive game obviously. They've read the scouting report and are sitting on his drives now.

Matt Bonner just made a great point. Just imagine if the home crowd was there... some of these runs would go in a different direction. Once again... if this no-fan season continues... the champs will have a huge asterisk beside their le.

I don't think they move fast on offense at all. Every offensive possession is 4 of them standing still as a goddamned scarecrow at the three point line while one isos and loses the heart to attack just before he reaches the paint. He launches the ball back out to the three point line where it is caught by a teammate who is too hesitant to shoot before the defenses closes, if the pass isn't snatched by the other team instead. Then sub in Patty so we can focus the offense through him and give up as many points as he scores, with his teammates standing still as goddamned scarecrows the entire time.

    Rinse and repeat.

If fans were in the AT&T Center there'd be just as many Laker fans as Spurs fans tbh. Agree about the asterisk though.

I like Lonnie attacking the rim tonight. Tbh he is a very good iso guy. Such quick first step and can lose his guy easily
