Get rid of him. The Wolves are not going anywhere any time soon.
Yes
No
Since KG's career is clearly at a crossroads with the Wolves franchise floundering, should the Timberwolves trade their franchise player and rebuild?
Naturally, my answer is no since it's difficult to trade a high priced superstar and get fair market value in return. , the Lakers and Raptors were fleeced when both teams traded Shaq and Vince respectively.
Unless the Wolves can garner future 1st round picks for Garnett, there can really be no logical way to build this team since we owe future 1st round picks to the Clips and Celtics and any team that lands KG will probably not be in the lottery.
What are your thoughts on this?
Get rid of him. The Wolves are not going anywhere any time soon.
If they don't make the playoffs this year he's gonna demand a trade and refuse to play.
Can't win with him, can't rebuild with his contract. Trade.
I don't feel like they owe it to KG to move him to a contender. He made his bed with his $30 million per contract - he can lie in it.
Yea..... The with KG.............. he needs to get the boot out of town..............
I know, send him to Sactown............
The truth hurts.![]()
Yes, to the Spurs.![]()
Seriously it would all depend on who they could get. A good return? By all means yes.
KG is never going to be a champion in Minnesota, so for his own good yes, they should trade him.
No, At first glance he may appear to serve the team best by being traded but real basketball minds know that you can replace hamburger helper with prime rib but if you serve it on a fresh cowpie, it will still be .
McHale is the bigger problem.
