28 sounds goog but will take super attrition to reach this number.
Assuming we take 28 --
QB- 1
RB- 2
OL- 5
TE- 1
WR- 5
DL/EDGE- 6
LB- 2
DB- 5
Transfer- 1
Subject to change

Assuming the NCAA doesn't have a repeat of last year, I'm assuming TH's biggest class will complete it's eligibility and with a normal level of attrition of say 5 guys 28 is about right considering we still have a big number of scholarships we didn't give out last year. The big thing I'd change in Juan's numbers is we are likely going to take a large number of linebackers 3 or 4 is my estimation. I'd assume 4 Dlinemen seeing how we took a large number of DEs in the last class.
Another variance will be by what position Sanders ends up playing if he is a DE then that is one less spot to recruit for, if he plays TE then we have to compensate for that.
Texas offers 2023 CB Tony Mitc (Alabaster, AL)

On the roster I count 67 players that will return unless they transfer. There are 10 that can return if they wish, some will go pro? If half return thats 72 toward 85 or 13 ships so there has to be a lot of transfers etc. to reach High number.
24/7 had an article on this a few weeks ago. They thought a lot of schools would have small classes due to new rules.
Time will tell.

Nick Harris now saying Trevell Johnson's announcement wont hit until next week
But he thinks we still look good with him
I think the recruit committing this weekend was going to be Trevell Johnson, but now it's someone else.

IT feels that Texas is considered the favorite currently for OL Kelvin Banks and stated Kyle Flood has done a tremendous job here.
