No, the problem is the guards had to hedge really high because their playmakers are three-point shooters. Then Harden or Irving get into the lane, Poeltl has to come over and the alley-oops are there. You'll see Poeltl and LeMarcus changed up to sag on the rolling big man after an adjustment.

I'm saying if we trust the coaching staff to put someone who isn't performing well on the bench, then we can trust them to know how a player will take it when they do get benched. Aldridge in a reduced role and accepts it gets a small contract with the Spurs, Aldridge in a reduced role and pouts doesn't get signed with the Spurs. Its a win/ win. If we can trust the team to assign other players as captains when other players like Aldridge and DeMar are no good anymore, then what's the ing problem?

Please get rid of Mills, his usage and hero balling is costing them games. He shot ok boxscore wise but his actual shots were terrible. All his misses were forced terrible shots that he had no business shooting
