Dirk has definitely disapeared this series. What I don't get is why? I don't think Haslem/Posey are defending him any better than Bruce did against us, yet he managed to still have great games against us.
Josh Howard also needs to wake the up!
Anyways, so far, MVP of the Mavs has been without a doubt Jason Terry. He's been their only consistent player, outside of maybe Stackhouse in this series. Diop/Dampier are doing their best defensively against Shaq also, and rebounding.

I don't think they are either per se. But they seem to be playing him a little more physical than SA did, for whatever reason and Posey/Haslem both have a couple inches on Bruce, so Nowitzki's not able back them down to the free throw line, for example, and shoot over them as easily as he did against Bowen, et al.
The best ones were about 3 dives he took on three pointers where the Heat were barely near him (I'll admit that on one of them he came down on Shaq's ankle and rolled his), but him and Stackhouse take more flops on jumpers than I've ever seen in my entire life and I've watched Reggie Miller for years...
Second best ones are where he has a clear opportunity for a 3 point play if he just makes an attempt at the basket, but he'd rather throw his hands and the ball into the air to make the play more theatrical (i.e. the one that keeps getting replayed on sportscenter where he runs into Shaq and falls down).
It's Ironic, MARKCUBAN is just as obscene and uncultured as Mark Cuban himself.
I don't see how that's a good thing... I hate Mark Cuban too, but I feel the best way to combat people like him is with class and dignity.
Of course, this is an internet forum, where normal people turn into insensitive assholes because they're protectected by anonymity.
Haslem is they type of defender that gives Dirk problems. Too strong for Dirk in the post and has Shaq/Zo to defend the paint if Dirk decides to drive. I guess Miami has exposed Dallas on what type of player gives Dirk problems now. The Udonis Haslem type.
Dirk isnt used to this kind of physical defense and doesn't know what to do.
