Vast majority of normal people feel this way. Where is the actual support coming from? Twitter.
Most people are simply complicit. They take the training and tutorial videos & seminars at work and put their head down. No one willing to step forward and say enough. And why would they after seeing how Trump was treated.
Trump has been one of the biggest proponents of cancel culture in the world.
The majority has always silenced minorities, power has always marginalized dissidence, I don't know why some people act as if that is a new phenomenon.
It would be more interesting to hear an actual argument in support of the canceled than to just bemoan the critics.
Did people really expect looney tunes or whatever to be popular forever? There are plenty of senselessly violent cartoons to fill the void ...
As for Pepe, I think watchers of most ages realize his behavior is both repulsive and ineffective , I think showing bad behavior in that light is a good thing, society already cancelled him without anyone needing to call Pepe out as if it were some huge revelation that his character is a bag. Im not bothered by cancelling per se, but this search for validation through obvious scalps is pathetic and easy picking for naysayers who want to distract from real issues like the salary gap
