I wasn't attacking you btw, you're free to be happy/angry at whatever; having said that, being happy that Orlando chose a "direction" is really "right now" thinking, tbh. They also "chose a direction" the last time they went for a rebuild, and it's gotten them nowhere still, and there's no signs that this current rebuild will take them anywhere either. There's a lot more to rebuilds than just getting picks, and having a good scouting department, good development programs, and all that stuff, can make or break a rebuild - and I don't particularly trust Orlando on those fronts. We'll see what happens, but I wouldn't be surprised to come back to this post in 5 years and have ORL still in the toilet, tbh

Yeah, agree, it really brings down the discussion quality when you've got people -flinging and trolling left and right in the middle of threads (like my boy Dejounte right now, ironically enough lol). I kind of respect timvp holding onto that "principle" of unmoderation above all, but it definitely makes the place worse, and I've lost a lot of my original enthusiasm for exchanging perspectives with everyone over it. More than a handful of posters simply aren't worth replying to or addressing.

I disagree that it's necessarily 'right now' thinking.... it's right now if your buying...it's thinking of the future if you are selling.... now they will probably screw it up... I don't have any expectation for the results of the path they chose.... I just want us to choose a path...... and maybe we have and we'll see that in a little while..buy or sell....do something that shows we have a plan...but right now there's no evidence that we have....and we know the status quo isn't very good.
