Explain bolded.
Great, that's a start.
What are the distinguishing characteristics of this "thing?"
Explain bolded.
What it was supposed to be was an honest look at HISTORY and government. This DID/DOES NOT happen in many States including Texas.
One example:
Slaves, according to Texas at one point and it continues to be so in some areas (tax payer funded in THIS state) in a much better place being slaves than in brutal Africa. No mention of how many families were separated, how many died on slave ships (recorded), and then of course the whole free will thing and the dignity of the individual taught in our CHRISTIAN schools. So we can solve this by the term, sub human.
There is ZERO need for CRT if history and government are taught properly and honestly including the embarrassing moments.
Taxpayer funded.

Racial equity. At best the argument is to prepare for the increasing white male drop. At worst is to makeup for decades of systematic racism.
Racial quotas were on the recent ballot in California.
why do you need quotas if we treat people the same BEFORE, for example, we interview them, and then after we interview them.
Are blacks naturally inferior intellectually?
Do you understand that ethnic groups have changed throughout history with migration and immigration?
You are a proponent of keeping ethnic groups separated?
Board lefties: "Please explain our ty ideas to us."
which ty ideas do you say fall under "woke"?
I'm not sure which ideas you specifically mean.
How Brussels wants to make your shopping woke
A futuristic shopping spree shows how the EU hopes to hold companies responsible for human rights and environmental abuses throughout their supply chains.
You’re strolling down the aisles of your supermarket, and every item you see is responsibly sourced from A to Z.
You can rest assured that your Argentine steak didn't cause deforestation, or that your zucchini were picked by farmworkers who are treated fairly.
This is Brussels’ plan, at least in theory. The European Commission is set to unveil draft legislation in June to compel all EU-based companies to take responsibility for human rights and environmental abuses throughout their supply chains — the so-called due diligence regulations. The European Parliament in a report in March said this is needed urgently because EU-based companies haven’t been active enough in preventing supply-chain abuses — only 37 percent of EU businesses conduct the proper due diligence, according to a Commission study.

Never addressed "woke", which it too broad and generic.
Why do you advocate CRT in public schools?
Id woke is any idea coming from "the left," then it's a catch-all, like I said.
Does "woke" have any specific meaning?
I explained to you why " ty" education in this State of Texas, which I know, has led to classes you dont like and I think would be unnecessary if we aired dirty laundry in HISTORY and government classes.
Do you not get this?
Or you think we treat our history honestly quite well right NOW?
Get ready for some local district policy to be thrown at you. Why all these fights over textbooks in schools?
I'm for literacy, math, and science.
No need for indoctrination.
In the 70's, we were still doing a Christian prayer, after pledge of allegiance. They got rid of that, which was the right thing.
So dont tell the truth about slavery.
Got it, indoctrination.
I don't.
I tend to doubt CRT per se is taught at any public elementary school or high school in the US. CRT isn't a synonym for antiracism or teaching parts of US history you don't like -- like slavery, Reconstruction, Jim Crow and civil rights.
No need to insert a new religion.
And biology textbooks in many Texas districts do an absolute ty job on the all encompassing idea of evolution.
Yeah and so what, the teachers dont believe it either, just skip it.
Just say things live and die and are specially created. no indoctrination.
Oddly enough, slavery, reconstruction, and Jim Crow were taught.
We were taught evolution.
History and Government are religion?
Good.
Then why are there still fights in Texas over the teaching of evolution in public schools, I mean, YOU were taught it?
So all is good I guess.
So what is it you're objecting to?
^not well versed on CRT
