Here’s the thing, it’s on the entire team. You are asking everyone to make concessions for DDR absolving him of any and all responsibility.
If he was that good, such as on defence, cutting w/o the ball etc. you could perhaps look at building around that.
But we have enough data on him and so does the rest of the league.
Imagine asking for 30 million a year after costing your previous team a playoff spot with a 2-14 shooting night
