Haha !! I hate losing to OU, but I hate bama worse.
you know, OU and UT always hang together in times like this. If we could get the Aggies into the group, we would have a lot more pull with the SEC. Does not make sense why we don’t have the same bond with you guys.

I'm not a fan of this move but I see why they need to do it. It has the feel of Lebron or KD chasing a ring rather than building something remarkable. I would have preferred that the Big XII try to pick up 4 teams but whatever.
I hate freakin politicians…They only care about protecting their own asses.
I think it's pretty sad if the Big XII essentially collapses. Who will they try to add if they lose UT and OU?
good question. i'd imagine it'd be the usual suspects: UH, SMU, etc. but there's also the chance the conference gets absorbed into another one. there's even speculation mounting that there may wind up being around 40 teams that eventually splinter off from the NCAA and form one or two super conferences.
I think they try to go their separate ways.
I could see Tech and OKIEST and others going to the PAC while Kansas and others go ACC, maybe the big 10
i'm hearing rumblings about a big X and ACC merger.
Welp I guess we're headed to 3 super conferences.
Plus Notre Dame
This move will be huge for recruiting. Could sway several recruits Texas' way quickly.
Unless ESPN redoes the deal, how do UT and OU get out before 2025?
if 4 teams leave the big12 the gor is vetoed....... texas/ou would get out with no penalty........2 more teams need to make a move..........kansas seems likely to big10 which leaves 1 more school
no more recruits turning down texas their dream school because they want to play in the sec..........no more texas leading for recruits only for said recruits to pick aggy because of sec
IT hearing that 2023 is the now the latest that Texas and OU would join the SEC.
They believe next season is the ticket.
Hamilton at IT spoke to a parent of a highly-ranked recruit and he was told Texas is going to have to turn down a lot of players once the SEC news is official.
