He's the one I'd like to see the Spurs get.
But he'll move up close to the lottery in the next few weeks.
Hopefully he ends up in black & silver somehow.
First DX mock after the lottery has the Spurs taking him. Here's the blurb...
From DraftExpress.com http://www.draftexpress.com/#ixzz3adiPRoHiTim Duncan is an ageless wonder, but the Spurs could certainly use some frontcourt depth, with the likes of Aron Baynes, Matt Bonner and Jeff Ayres all entering free agency this summer. 6-11, with long arms and soft tough, Christian Wood is talented enough to get drafted much higher than this, and the Spurs could afford to be patient and develop him.

As an aside, they have Anderson, Hunter, Harrell, and Upshaw going before. Delon Wright and George de Paula were both still on the board.
Would be too good to be true, in my opinion. This is shaping up to be a pretty nice draft. Would love for the Spurs to get more picks.
Not a huge fan, in David Aldridges' draft breakdown he quoted a scout saying the kid thinks he's better than he is, I think he'd struggle to fit in. Lacks strength, not a good defender, doesn't play with great effort. Not a lot to like IMO.
There's a ton to like, but he does seem to have a lot of the same red flags as Ryan Richards did. Difference is Richards has an NBA body already. Still, the upside is there, and four a fifth big, he'd be great. Maybe even better if he were a sixth big who spent most of the season in Austin.
With the game really becoming a wing game what are the chances of Wood being a poor mans Kevin Durrant and being able to play the three? He wouldn't have to worry about bulking up as much. He is a very good athlete. Decent shooter with potential to improve. He also has good handles.

The Rockets are concerned that star center Christian Wood could be sidelined for an extended period after injuring his right ankle for the second time in a span of less than three weeks, sources told ESPN. “It didn’t look great," coach Stephen Silas said. "It was unfortunate.”

Without Wood available in the matchup tomorrow. Spurs might find away to blow this up again.
I think Warriors Wiseman will also be out for the games against Spurs
