Yes you probably could, that's how samples work. Have you seen a study where the sample showed 10% voter fraud?
you might want to pick up on that instead of asking dumb questions

Of course, if the sample size is 10 people and 1 of the votes was fraudulent. Have you ever seen the Big Bang? How do you know it ever happened?
You're playing scientist. Keep going.
That doesn't sound like an actual study with a statistically relevant sample size. That sounds like a fictional study with an arbitrary sample made up by someone who doesn't know anything about statistics.
there still seems to be some principled resistance to the notion that the main pathway of infection is respiratory, for some reason.
So you're a statistician too.
Is DMCMD doubling down on his "no Delta variant" trolling?![]()
Not by trade but I do know basic high school concepts. I'm also not a chemist, but I know how to read a periodic table.
Both sides, what about, does not exist, and bloviating troll at his worse.
The US Is Getting Covid Booster Shots. The World Is Furious
The White House’s plan to roll out third shots for any American adult is raising
profound questions about global equity.

There is no equity, ethics, morals, humanity in Capitalism
Yep, we're all starting all over again on 9/20.
Its an RNA virus not a DNA virus. These viruses vary widely because they use completely different genetic material so we separate them into TWO very large groups or fundamental variations. Viruses vary a great deal so we divide them up into groups in various manners. (yes people actually do categorize all kinds of things based on different criteria, a real eye opener for DMC.) And yes patient samples are taken and sequenced in small scale sampling that is the best way to determine if the DELTA VARIANT (yes it has a different RNA sequence from the wild type that leads to at least 3 significant changes to THREE different proteins which might be very important in its ability to infect) is the virus of interest in infections.
The delta variants within their own group also have differing RNA as well so even "subgroups" here can be tracked. But the variation in sequence does NOT lead to changes in the major proteins that allow the virus to infect, so we dont keep dividing them up into delta 1,2,3 etc... or whatever they have decided to label them yet. (EXCEPTION: in specifically helping to solve the pattern of infection thru a population of the delta just viruses.) So saying there is not a variant is fairly ridiculous.
The nomenclature used for establishing family trees for viruses is ongoing. Variant, is handy.
Hard to tell. DMC might be chewing the "rational discussion" frame in his typically blockheaded and pompous way.
Thank you Cliff Clavin.
RandomGrunt sonned right proper
Glad we got that cleared up.
Poison control calls e as people take livestock dewormer to treat COVID-19

& still Biden got dunned with over 1100 dead Americans yesterday, 7 months to the day he stole the Presidency of the United States from the greatest President to ever walk the face of the earth...President Donald J. Trump.
Trump President.
Not Clinton.
Hey, I am all for these s to self medicate themselves to death, it is their right.
Who are we to push our beliefs on others.
DMC will use the retort that its not a variation, its called a different variety, something profound like this.
Sorry I dont know Cliff Clavin. Did he pick on people who loathe ever being wrong.
Good for Cliff. You are grammar Cliff with a mix of elementary school teacher, Mrs. Crutchfield.
Biden won.
Not Trump.
No amount of whining from you is ever changing that cubby.
You spend an inordinate amount of time focused on me. It's creepy actually.
I'll never stop whining, bum. You guys never stopped whining the entire Trump Presidency.
I have my calling.
Let us proceed...
