I didn't check if this had been posted yet. It is a good article anyway. Check it out.

He makes a good point though. You can't continue to fine a multi-billionaire. $250,000 fine to him is like $2.50 fine to me. The only way he will settle down is the threat of not being able to go to the games.
I agree with you on that point about the $250,000 fine. But I wonder if not letting him go to games will settle him down, or just make him more angry?
Can the NBA really block him from going to see the team HE owns? Cuban could sue the league bigtime from trying to block him from the games.
Interesting point, and maybe possible point. I'm sure Cuban wouldn't hesitate to sue if he could!
Tell that to Marge Schott. Well, figuratively anyway, unless you have a shovel handy.
If memory serves Whitlock is the same dude who wrote articles about the Spurs last year.
If you cause a problem the referee has the authority to throw you out of the arena. I'm sure the commissioner has the power to ban him.
Why doesn't Stern focus more on making the referees better and leave Cuban alone. He only makes it worse for himself when Cuban knows he is under Stern's skin. Cuban is saying what most owners and coaches want to say, but don't have the balls or money to do so.
They should bus around Cuban in a box like the pope had. It will be multi purpose. It will keep Cuban safe from harm, and keep the world safe from Cuban.
I agree with your first statement. He should make the referees better and leave Cuban alone. I admire Cuban for standing his ground against Stern. Fortunately he has the money to do so. Lots of times I think coaches and owners are just fined into submission. Maybe I am wrong, but that is the way it seems sometimes.
him. If it was anybody else that wrote this same article, I would listen to it. But if it's Jason Whitlock, I don't give a damn. He hates anything and everything that comes out of Texas. He made some nasty comments at Vince Young and UT and has been doing so ever since they came in the big 12. Could care less about his garbage. All his articles are nothing but shock value anyway.
Yeah, that guy is seriously a dip .
You can't ban the owner of a team from seeing the team he owns.
That's like banning me from my house because my neighbors complain over and over again about me playing loud music. The police keep giving me citations, but I don't give a , I keep bumping my music. So eventually they don't let me go to my house?
Cuban is just annoying, and by now, I know he isn't doing us any favors by thrusting himself into the public eye. Once he figures out the balance that is required to be the face of the franchise while not being an obnoxious turd, then things will be right.
Also, if Stern were to do that, then he is admitting that Cuban has won by being so obnoxious that Stern gets so tired of him that he suspends him.
Also, anyone think that Whitlock's column would be a whole lot different if Cuban was black?
Cuban IS annoying.
But I wonder about an organization- any type of organization- where the membership is not allowed to voice ANY criticism of the organization. Let's see....that was true in Hitler's Germany, Soviet Union during the Cold War, Castro's Cuba, and on & on & on...
Rather than continually trying to muzzle Cuban, I wish that Stern had the balls to allow the players and coaches to comment on the officiating- or anything else to do with the NBA. To ban all even mildly negative commentary is almost to admit the weakness of the organization...or the guilt.
Denial of open and critical dialogue results in unilateral and unchecked authority by the leadership of the organization. Did I just describe a dictatorship?
Rather than exerting all of their energy in suppression of debate and deflection of criticism the NBA would be better served by addressing the issues raised and correcting them. Otherwise, it will eventually die....just like all dictatorships eventually die.
I like this one............ Not just full of I hate cuban comments........lol
