Was kind of surprised Shaq never came here later in his career. Not a chance in he would have chosen the Spurs over the Lakers in the late 90s though, he's just talking bull .
Shaq says if he wanted to form a super team, he would have joined the Spurs and teamed up with Tim Duncan and David Robinson. Here are links to the articles below:

Combining with LakerRef along with the plan to vastly expand the Kirby Sheep market was indeed a Super Team.
Shaq told verifiable lies about DRob, so he was never coming here.
Blaspemous in reality, but simply for theoretical sakes imagine if Tim joined the Lakers and therefore received the corruption and pampering from LakerRef?
8 les in 10 years?
What was he gonna do? Play point guard? Lol
how about when kobe wanted a trade and there was talk of enrique and turnobili trade for him...
Well, no opposing player would have entered the paint, that's for sure.
He had no problems forming a super team in LA when he went after both Malone and Payton.
If Shaq joined the Spurs with Duncan, Manu, Parker and Drob in 2002 and 2003 they have more championships. All of them. Could you imagine what it would be for a defender with a prime Duncan and Shaq, Drob in the paint. It would boil down to the Spurs shooters making shots with those 3 monsters on the court. Would have been awesome.
I mean we started DRob, TD and Will Perdue for a couple of games if I recall so they probably could have made it work.
Would have won every le from '99-'07
with Duncan, D-Rob and Shaq we coulda won a le with Bryn starting at SG
He wouldn't have done it. Ever. He hated the Spurs. Hated DRob and envied TD. His ego would never have allowed it.
