I absolutely love Manu being there and especially coaching Keldon. Get him on that euro-step quick, he had a lot of trouble last year barging into defenders and getting called for offensive fouls, if he added some unpredictability to his game, it'd work out much better for him in the end.

A 4th option Keldon Johnson would pull off 20 and 10 on some nights. Excited to see what a top 3 option Keldon can do.
Maybe Renfro was waiting to see a better offer from someone else (2 way deal at least?). He waited for as long as he could before taking the Spurs deal which likely was offered to him after summer league. The odds for him making the team are 0 since Spurs need to cut players, not add and it’s not like it’s a 2 way deal…
The bind on Keldon’s knee doesn’t give me a good feeling, hope it’s nothing.
I can't wait to see how Keldon has progressed and will progress throughout this season. That dude is underrated.
Looks cosmetic to me...don't see how that could be really offering any serious support. I used to wear similar Under Armour bands playing flag football because I thought they looked cool and was just that guy, I guess. They definitely didn't make me play any better other than for supers ion's sake

In my younger days, I thought it was just a sweatband and tried to emulate the pros by wearing one.
I could never understand why mine kept slipping down.
Needless to say, it was a simpler time.
Right it's to reduce tendinitis. I used to wear as well cause I needed them. Then arch supports fixed me
Renfro could very well be the second two way contract player if he performs well after camp.
I still see Aminu and KBD being the cuts from the main squad. Eubanks isn't ever going to be longtime starter or anything, but he has been a hard worker and shown improvement over the years, and has already been getting some pub on the Spurs media.
That makes the contract the Spurs gave KBD kinda weird, but maybe they just had the money to spend and used it as an "attaboy" for him being a good soldier last year.
Would suck to just waive Aminu, it seemed to me like his salary would be useful in a salary dump trade that brought in fewer players than it sent out (plus assets ofc), and maybe lightning would strike and he would be a useful bench piece at a position of need. But I don't know if he's just plain done.
KBD must have gotten at least a partial guarantee to come to camp elsewhere. He must have had something else on the table that prompted the Spurs to improve their offer. In addition to that, a trade was likely being worked on that we know nothing about. Lastly they probably consider that he can push Luka to compete harder. In theory Luka should be a better player (taller, younger, with athleticism and theoretical skill) however the Spurs want to see him show it. Overall though I think they liked him enough to fill a role if there was a trade and he had other offers.

yep i think we should shut him down for the season and put a minutes restriction on him... maybe we can start promoting family members to the front office etc...

There are three bobblehead nights happening this season. Guess who they’re featuring in each of those nights? DJ, White, and Keldon. Yup, those guys aren’t being traded.
