He is injured. He isn't out of the rotation.
    Did someone tweet something out?

Don't worry about Walker. He's fine. He looked confident and was playing well.

Primo looks great, looks like he's going to kill it in Austin.

It's the same that held him out of the scrimmage. Just give him some run tonight and don't push it.

Gonna be interesting who gets cut though for sure... Aminu is the obvious choice but his contract is very valuable for trades...

For sure... Lonnie, Thad, Aminu may be getting a pink slip soon...

Lonnie just seems like the odd man out... I don't even think he played that bad today. I don't understand why he wasn't in.
Lonnie occasionally plays offense. He never plays defense. On a "good" day he's empty calories giving back everything he gets you. On a bad day he's a train wreck who does nothing on either end of the court. Too early to give up on him (he's young, missed a lot of time with the injury) but no way you extend him. Make him bet on himself this year.

G league is good for some guys, but not for Primo! The spurs haven’t had a successful G leaguer in awhile (Keldon doesn’t count he should have been with the main club)

The guy who really pulled my attention was Vassell. He did a lot of junkyard dog stuff, finding plays where there weren't any. Didn't get his threes to fall, but if he's finding his spots, is aggressive, this looks great.

Yeah his defensive playmaking was tantalizing. It was against a young team but it was young Kawhi-esque.

Should be a fun season win or loss though. Plenty to discuss and plenty to debate...

And stepped it up with the rebounding when the team needed it, five defensive and eight total, more than Poeltl.

Em, rebounding looks like it could be a huge issue, especially on the defensive side and where do you find offense when the game is on the line or when you need a bucket to stop the bleeding so to speak. Other wise I agree.
I saw bits and pieces of preseason so I’ll take your insight fully. …I’ll get reamed for posting this but Forbes can be net positive too. Strictly in this role as hired gun. The team may be running for a play-in seed barring injuries.

That's what I'm saying though.. Poetl is just so soft man... that's why I get a hard on when Drew gets minutes because he goes hard af. It is a great change of pace though... I guess I'm tired of "finesse" bigs.

Yak was involved in a lot of those shots turning into rebounds. He had a solid game and a quality number of blocks. Yak and Vassel peppered with White or Murray really improves the defense on the court and allows the coaching staff to throw minutes for one of McDerms/Lonnie/Forbes on the court at a time that doesn't sacrifice defense terribly and still provides a punching chance to compete on offense.

Also Eubanks hustle really go other teammates moving. He set the screen and wouldn't slide early.

I dunno. Poeltl did okay. A lot of their offensive boards came from Poeltl having to slide to contest shots on drives, so wasn't there. I might want more from him on boards, but the team was lacking a second rebounder in the starting unit. McDermott isn't it and Johnson was struggling with their length. Once Pop adjusted them to hitting the defensive glass as a team, the game was much more under control.

I think DJ, White, Vas, KJ, and Poetl could be a great closing unit if we have some cushion... As a defensive unit it just has crazy potential.

I agree with this. Handles and pepper in some seasoning with playmaking decisions.

If he is able to refine those two adequately he could be something good.

When does the last cut have to be made prior to the start of the season?
