I know it is just Orlando and they are missing half their team, but the Spurs are ballin out there. I love how they are sharing the ball, playing hard, hustling, going after all the loose balls, and absolutely rooting each other on. I am seeing no egos out there. I love it. They are fun as to watch. Now, I know the games will definitely get tougher. Hopefully they can keep up this brotherhood even during the tough stretches.

Great point G. And also I'd like to add, all those things can be maintained and sustained... shooting woes happen but like you just said bruh, they can bring that every night.

My preferred rotation is still:

White, Murray
Walker, Primo
Vassell, McDermott
Johnson, Bates-Diop
Poeltl, Young

But there's a lot of room for compromise that I think would still lead to a better rotation.

Vassell should be starting. Worst case, he should be starting for White or Murray to balance out the rotation. But I'd say he should be starting for McDermott with someone else starting for White/Murray. You want to develop the young guys? Play them, and not just with the bench.

I'm scared of the thought of McD and Fvck! coming together off the bench.

Vassell off the bench still works because of when you bring in Lonnie and Forbes he helps offset the drop in defense. He definitely needs to be closing out 4th quarters every game though with white and murray and poeltl

Bates Diop played really good defense during that run we had. He is big enough to play the 4 in today’s NBA but can move decent enough to not be too bad of a defensive liability when switched into wings.

he might not be a good scorer but dude is a pretty solid defender. He should maybe get more run at the backup 4 during the season.

Imagine how good the trade would look for the Spurs in retrospect had Number Two's four-bouncer missed and the Raps lost in round 2. Or if a healthy Warriors team had trounced them in the Finals.

The trade went as well as it possibly could have for the Raps and they still suck now. I know they don't regret it, I'm just saying it was still a razor's edge as to how it turned out.

Huge facts man. They caught lightening in a bottle just like we did... Kawhi is a comet man, from what I can fore see... short time around but brilliant display... I'm not sure how long he plays and at what level... I ain't mad at the whole situation anymore... it's water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. Time will tell.
