One year later, Tucker Carlson still has no idea what he's talking about.

worth a bump, white backlash having an effective catchall that worked this time is newsworthy.

CRT in action. View oppressed black farmers through govt racism

‘Rampant issues’: Black farmers are still left out at USDA

Black farmers are far behind in obtaining grants and loans, a POLITICO analysis of data shows.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2021/0...ut-usda-497876

Same with bank lending, same with post-WWII GI bill for mortgages and college aid

How Thousands of Black Farmers Were Forced Off Their Land

Black people own just 2 percent of farmland in the United States.

A decades-long history of loan denials at the USDA is a major reason why.

except when they are being straight up racist. They seem to have abandoned any pretense about not being racist.

    The honesty is somewhat refreshing.

    GOP trigger words

    Sound off, 1st Amendment warriors

How do you teach driver's ed without "intersection"?

    Bankruptcy and finance without "equity"?
1A and free-speech warriors, where are y'all on the direct state abrogation of curriculum via lists of prohibited words?

    Say your say.

say, ever happened witht the Sharia law threat from 2008-2016?

has that been established anywhere in the US?

(CRT would be a "Sharia law" reboot, if it were possible to reboot vaporware.)
apparently it is possible to reboot vaporware, my bad

    Despite Critical Race Theory Outrage,

Majority of GOP Voters Want History of Racism Taught

more than 5 in 10 Republicans—54 percent of respondents—back public schools teaching the subject.

In contrast, 94 percent of Democrats said that they supported teaching about the history of racism.

"Tell me you never read Immanuel Kant without telling me you've never read Immanuel Kant"

It's almost like the guy was triggered by the word "critique," but it's entirely more likely that he knows how his intended audience reacts to it, so he made some up.

PEN report on viewpoint-based censorship in the US

Between January and September 2021, 24 legislatures across the United States introduced 54 separate bills intended to restrict teaching and training in K-12 schools, higher education, and state agencies and ins utions. The majority of these bills target discussions of race, racism, gender, and American history, banning a series of “prohibited” or “divisive” concepts for teachers and trainers operating in K-12 schools, public universities, and workplace settings. These bills appear designed to chill academic and educational discussions and impose government dictates on teaching and learning. In short: They are educational gag orders.

PEN America intends this report to sound the alarm and recognize these bills for what they are: attempts to legislate constraints on certain depictions or discussions of United States history and society in educational settings; to stigmatize and suppress specific intellectual frameworks, academic arguments, and opinions; and to impose a particular political diktat on numerous forms of public education. Taken together, these efforts amount to a sweeping crusade for content- and viewpoint-based state censorship.

For this reason, we refer to these bills not by incomplete or misleading terms like “anti–critical race theory,” or “divisive concepts”—as their proponents prefer—but rather by a more accurate description: educational gag orders. We use this term because we believe that it best captures the actual and intended effect of these bills: to stop educators from introducing specific subjects, ideas, or arguments in classroom or training sessions.

Still legal and in print in the USA. I would imagine most libraries stock it.

I'd not have a problem with school libraries that carry it, I would imagine quite a few do.
