Guess you missed the correction.
Not at all. I fully expected the legal result.
Do the dictionary definitions of vigilante and killer hurt you?
Guess you missed the correction.
Meh, on to the next news cycle.
Disarm himself after hearing a gunshot and being attacked? In the middle of a fu.cking riot? Are you trolling?
Who am I kidding? Y'all are celebrating the vigilantism and the killing.
Nah, just celebrating the F U to the false narrative of racism the media and talking heads keep pushing. The accusation of being a racist holds no meaning anymore because it's overused. Kyle shouldn't have been there and those 3 individuals shouldn't have provoked him. The jury decided, end of story.
Cry more
Doesn't matter. Dictionary definitions of vigilante and killer still stand wholly separate from the legal outcome.
Keep celebrating, it doesn't hurt me that your hero is a vigilante and a slayer.
lol killing isn't necessarily a bad thing, in and of itself. If Rosenbaum didn't want to be ventilated (jury is still out on that), he shouldn't have attacked an armed kid for no reason.
So we should use Merriam-Webster as a method for convicting someone? If I kill someone because they broke into my house then I am by definition a killer.
Of course there was a reason, dude thought he was younger. Was sexually attracted to him. Kyle prevented a rape.
I'm not griping about the verdict, I'm just describing intentions and actions.
If you kill someone you're a killer. If you assume the functions of law enforcement you're a vigilante.
all about male on male action, what a surprise
I'm sure Rosenbaum was surprised, about 4 times.
I'm not. I fully expected the verdict.
The dictionary isn't a legal tribune.
Keep celebrating, you're underscoring my point![]()
You can expect it and still be upset over it. Stop pretending you're not upset when your posts reveal you really are.
Also, Kyle was chased by people who say they thought he was an active shooter. (well, one of the says it, we haven't spoken to the other two). That makes them the vigilantes, and their lives were not in immediate danger when he ran past them. They took it upon themselves to act as law enforcement. They lost. If the politics were reversed, you'd be calling Kyle a hero.
I'll agree with the vigilante label however he only became a killer in self defense. He wasn't on trial for being a vigilante or being in Wisconsin illegally. He was on trial for murder which the jury didn't find him guilty of committing. Had the first individual not provoked him, the events may not have unfolded the way they did. What was the motivation for advancing on a person with a deadly weapon and trying to take it from him?
I can't recall doing that before, are you a mind reader?
Apologizing for vigilantism is a right wing thing, tbh. A citizen who carries an AR-15 to a riot to protect other people's property is a vigilante, period. That's what we have police for.

Never change, ST
I'm not parsing that, that's legally settled. I'm just describing intentions and actions. Rittenhouse assumed the function of LE unbidden and got himself in a pickle after he shot someone. He lucked out legally, but he's still a killer and a vigilante. If you want to celebrate that, be my guest.
