Man, I missed that.
Wretchedly bad take by Chucho, really puts the both sidesism in perspective.
The narrower your scope of acceptable mates, the less likely you are to find someone, and that probability goes down over time.
Best thing to do is to find someplace with women like that and get there, or work there.
Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
No I'm not saying they are a majority. That is part of the problem. The NRA cult has effectively made any kind of gun control a third rail for any Republican running for office anywhere.
A very vocal minority blocks things, backed up by a lot of money. Just like ing everything about this useless ty country.
the government has been effectively paralyzed by rich assholes and large corporations who can throw unlimited amounts of dark money at issues and candidates. Republicans benefit a bit more so from this than Dems, and are more corrupt at all levels as a consequence, but the corruption and rot runs deep.
Best approach I think is to treat it like a health issue in some way.
Research suggests that gun violence is akin to a disease in that it tends to spread like one.

We spend hundreds of billions on a bloated military... but not enough on social welfare and safety nets.
MF Biden's (Best approach) on his current (health issue) of COVID has killed 406k Americans, RG.
& counting, son.
I mean I'm open to having sex with a much wider variety, but in terms of a long term soulmate, my first marriage was obviously an amateur mistake I made at the age of 22 and I don't want another divorce due to incompatibility so if I'm going to get married again it has to be pretty much someone like minded. They're out there, yes they aren't extremely common but they do exist. Ya just hope they aren't the type that only date guys 6'2" and up or don't date guys with long hair. I play guitar and I'm never cutting my long wavy/straight (depending on weather) hair.
Sandy Hook, TX rural church, Nevada kicker concert, does Chucho ever talk about white, non-urban gun slaughters?
America is 80% urban now. So just statistically, most happens where there are the most people.
And (white) rurals are just as, even more so, drug abusing as urbans.
Parents of Michigan high school shooting suspect charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter
https://www.washingtonpost.com/natio...arents-charged
why aren't all parents of their kids/friends dead from gun carelessness getting charged?
"In 2019, at least 32 Texan children ages 0-17 died in unintentional shootings."

LOL indeed. Now you get to go to jail.
interesting, but I wonder how they'll get those charges to stick, I wonder if shooter dimed out his parents somehow
School shooter fantasized about being ‘death’ and ‘destroyer of worlds’ while mom worshiped Trump
a search of the boy’s home turned up “two separate videos recovered from Ethan’s cellphone, made by him the night before the incident, wherein
he talked about shooting and killing students the next day at Oxford High School.”
Willis added that a journal was also found inside Crumbley’s backpack “detailing his desire to shoot up the school, to include murdering students.”
Crumbley’s parents, James, 45, and Jennifer, 43.
Both have misdemeanors, including driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, and writing bad checks
Jennifer was working as a real estate agent. She was also a devout Trump supporter.
“Mr. Trump, I actually love that you are a bad public speaker because that showed sincerity, and humility.
You changed your mind, and you said “so what”.
You made the famous “grab them in the pussy” comment, did it offend me?
No. I say things all the time that people take the wrong way, do I mean them, not always.
“Do I agree that you should of shown your tax returns? No. I don’t care what you do or maybe don’t pay in taxes,
I think those are personal and
if the Gov’t can lock someone up over $10,000 of unpaid taxes and you slipped on by, then that shows the corruption.
I like that you have failed.
I love it even more that those failures taught lessons and made you one of the most successful Business Men in my history.
I love that you are not from the political spotlight,
maybe you are the hope that can really uncover the politicians for what I believe they really are.
I have high hopes you will shut down Big Pharma,
make health care affordable
for me and my MIDDLE CLASS family again.”

Real Americans, The Best People, parents who created and armed a mass murderer

They dimed out themselves, tbh
According to McDonald, a teacher at Oxford High School observed Ethan Crumbley looking up ammunition on his cell phone during class on Nov. 21. The teacher reported the incident to school officials, who reportedly reached out to Jennifer Crumbley by phone and email to alert the parents.
School personnel say they did not receive a response from either parent regarding the internet search. According to McDonald, Jennifer Crumbley sent a text to her son regarding the incident, writing “LOL I’m not mad at you. You have to learn not to get caught.”
On the day of the shooting, Nov. 30, officials report that a teacher discovered a note with disturbing drawings and messages on Ethan Crumbley’s desk, prompting her to take a picture on her cell phone and alert school personnel. Prosecutors say the note contained the following items:
- A drawing of a semi-automatic handgun pointing at the words, “The thoughts won’t stop. Help me.”
- A drawing of a bullet with “blood everywhere” written above the bullet.
- A drawing of a person who appeared to have been shot twice and bleeding.
- A drawing of a laughing emoji.
- Writing that said, “My life is useless.”
- Writing that said, “The world is dead.”
Parents meet with school personnel on day of shooting
James and Jennifer Crumbley were summoned to Oxford High School on the morning of the shooting to address the note found by the teacher. Ethan Crumbley and his parents together met with school personnel, where they were shown the note and were advised to take their son to counseling within 48 hours.
During the meeting, Prosecutor McDonald says that the parents both “failed to ask their son if he had his gun with him, or where his gun was located, and failed to inspect his backpack for the presence of the gun -- which he had with him.”
Investigators previously said that the weapon was likely stored in Ethan Crumbley’s backpack on the day of the shooting, which was present during the Tuesday meeting.
Parents refuse to take Ethan Crumbley home after meeting
McDonald says parents James and Jennifer Crumbley did not want to take their son home with them following the meeting on Nov. 30. Instead, the couple left the school without him, and Ethan Crumbley was sent back to class.
According to prosecutors, Jennifer Crumbley sent a text message to her son after news of the school shooting became public, writing, “Ethan don’t do it.” Shortly after, at 1:37 p.m., James Crumbley called 911 and reported that a gun was missing from his house, and that he believed his son may be the shooter at Oxford High School.
Officials revealed Friday that James Crumbley purchased the weapon at a gun shop in Oxford on Nov. 26 -- four days before the shooting -- with his son Ethan Crumbley present. Ethan Crumbley later took to social media to post a photo of the pistol, writing “Just got my new beauty today,” including an emoji with hearts, prosecutors said.
Following that purchase, mother Jennifer Crumbley reportedly posted on social media, writing, “Mom and son day testing out his new Christmas present.”
McDonald says the evidence indicates that the weapon purchased by James Crumbley was intended as a gift for Ethan Crumbley. In Michigan, you must be at least 18 years old to obtain a handgun license. Officials say the weapon was stored in an unlocked drawer in the parents’ bedroom at their home in Oxford Village.
Seeing her layout that evidence in that really ed up top, didn't make me anymore confident in how you'd get them for involuntary manslaughter. The kid had pics of the gun and claimed ownership but by her own evidence it was kept in the parents room. Their biggest offense that day was not taking him home for those ed up drawings.
like i said, there's no crime in keeping your kid away from you at any time possible, it's more an indictment on our ty school policies that he wasn't sent home. The school was forced to let him back into their population
During the meeting, Prosecutor McDonald says that the parents both “failed to ask their son if he had his gun with him, or where his gun was located, and failed to inspect his backpack for the presence of the gun -- which he had with him.”
This is ing stupid, and while i'd love to live in a world where gun owners are responsible for every bullet that exits their gun, that's not how it works. When he found out the gun was gone he reported it.
the level of parental responsibility seems to be non-zero to me, but I have no idea whether it's enough to sustain involuntary manslaughter charges in Michigan.
Is there a Michigan lawyer on this board?
