St. Louis is not ideal, because the Blues have first dibs on the revenue streams from the SAVVIS Center, so unless the new owner of the Blues decides he wants an NBA team too, the economics aren't there.

    KC would work better.
Ahh forgot about the Blues. The Blues is big in St. Louis too.

But yeah, It's all about that money. They do not care if a team was in Laredo(I would lol), but when they show them the money, they could care less.

I'd go with Kansas City. The new arena is in place and they're making a push to lure the Magic out of Orlando if a arena deal isn't reached.

It's a risk, though. The Kings didn't exactly gain the poularity in that town as they had hoped. A new team will probably draw well for the first year, but what happens when the novelty aspect wears off? Especially if the team is a poor to mediocre.

I'd like to see Hornets stay in OKC. New Orleans tends to be underwater these days! If you missed it, the Hornets nearly made it to the playoffs! Something new for them! Kansas City or St Louis both sound good. I'd like to think Omaha could support a team, but I really doubt it. They are too busy with their Huskers! lol!

I really hope Portland does not lose it's team. But if they do move, why would they move to Anaheim? 3 teams in one metro area? I don't care that they have 17 million, that's oversaturation.

That's the talk around town and I think LA will have no problem supporting all three teams. The Clippers and Lakers play in the same arena so a team in Orange County should not conflict with the Staples center.
