Putin was the winner in crossing into Ukraine.
This is far from over for the Russian people.

He is not that far from being dead so I guess it was go time.
He wont suffer from this, but others will, and because of him.
The oligarchs that help back him are gonna be watched very closely so they stay in line. No funny business after they are cleaned out.
Those residences in Europe, gone... That nice bankroll in Switzerland... gone....

    Minsk2

Article 4: elections in Donbas. The day after the pullback of heavy weaponry from the contact line, a dialogue on local elections will start in accordance with Ukrainian law and the temporary law on special status adopted in September 2014. No later than 30 days after the signing of the Minsk-2 agreement (i.e. by 14 March), Ukraine’s parliament will adopt a resolution defining the area in which the temporary law on special status will apply (to be based on the delineation line in the memorandum of 19 September 2014)
You just conflated two things. Ukraine itself considered those elections illegal, as did just about all the major pS outside of Russia and maybe Belarus. Again, hater’s interpretation of Minsk Protocol is straight out of Russian propaganda

Has anybody here worked in Ukraine or the Donbas? Just curious where all these informed opinions are coming from

On your point, NATO should send a "peacekeeping force" to Kiev and surroundings, IMO...

    They better do it quickly.
Things could really start to roll from here. Russian troops are in Belarus.
The airspace and ground around that area are probably being watched very closely.
That could be a trigger in itself.

I understand the value of the response. I just dont know if its even plausible now.

Well, Russia would have to attack Kiev (not that they could not), and that's something that goes against the whole "we're here as a peacekeeping force in these two provinces" spiel.

For example, I think it was Porton Johnson that just announced joint military exercises with Ukraine, in Ukraine.

Im just saying they would know we were sending peace keeping forces in and call it.
Then move in peacefully and deny NATO entry peacefully.
I dont know the exact logistics of all this but they are all over the place already. You know they have info about that area on the ground.

Exactly. He's been planning this operation for years. We portended to know what his every move is, but we didn't know . And we still don't an inkling of it.

Another warning via "Rocky"===when Creed's manager sees it coming he implores Creed from ringside, "Get away from him!!!"

Creed of course squares up, center ring.

Biden needs to "Get away from him." He can't stand toe-to-toe with him now and live to tell.

The problem is there is no way we're/Biden is going to come out of this smelling like a rose. He cleaned our in' clocks while we were meandering thru life.

What do you do then? SHUT YOUR ING MOUTH!

The best is when he quotes Minsk 2 after conveniently ignoring that during those very negotiations the Russians launched a major offensive that captured the strategic railway town of Debaltseve and took several kms of Ukrainian territory and inflicting great loss of life in a fierce WW2-style tank battle.

But the Ukrainians fought back so they violated Minsk

And? U mentioned Minsk as reason for us to send troops.

I said Ukraine was not following Minsk (which is 100% true) neither was the other side yes.

But USA sending troops because of Minks is idiotic

    Well there you go.
If that is doable that could be a step. I expect the French to send the largest force to practice with the retreat.

Because when will it ever end? You hope it doesn’t come to all out war, but for tat troop movement into Ukrainian territory from the west is better than a slow burn of losing territory every 5 years until Ukraine is absorbed back into Russia. Then it will be the rest of helpless Georgia and Moldova. Then come the provocations/demands towards Romania, Poland and the Baltic states, etc. etc.

So keep passing the buck to future generations, huh? Bring the troops in, Mexican standoff
War is never going to end. They don't all have to be our war.

tbh, Vietnam and the Middle East proved you're better off fighting the big powers via guerrilla warfare than a frontal assault.

Fully expecting "former CIA" Manuel Lopez, born in Arizona, to get caught by Russians fighting for Ukraine.

Biden is weak so this happened... Like Trump would have made a difference.
Its not about remembering, its you having a personality disorder. You write things that are then contradicted by other things you write.
Just fob it all off on another one of your great trolling maneuvers then.

There is no guerrilla warfare in the Ukraine,,,they have neither the terrain of Vietnam nor the terrorists of the middle east. They have to confront them face to face,,,,they have no choice.
