Will this thread make it to 3 pages tonight tbh?
Dj calling his number too much. Need more setting up of the ofense.
Doug with the half hearted pretend rotation on that blow by from Martin. Easy layup. Spurs need to get a proper big wing who can play the 4 and actually play some defense and rebound. Doug is pitiful in both areas and its a bigger negative than his 3 point shooting is positive.
Perimeter shooting going cold in the 4 per par.
It was, but overall I’ve been disappointed with his late game decision making lately…
These kids just don't know how to close games.
We have horrible defense. The players on the perimeter stand straight up on defense. Defense is quite easy. You get low and move your feet. We do none of that and the fact that we lack a shot blocker or rim intimidator, it's like a layup line in the paint. We don't really have a great ball handler either. Murray and Primo are good, but they don't have those Tim Hardaway, Penny, Zeke type of hands to constantly create separation. At one point this quarter when the Hornets started to press, everyone was playing hot potato with the ball.
Yet again this Spurs fail to make their shots and crunch time
So many fouls this quarter. And they are legit fouls, just bad decisions by us.
Props to the Hornets not missing any free throws down the stretch.
4 straight losses and the tank is back on track
Good loss. Unfortunately Sacramento choked against the Doncic-less Mavs.
Good to see Primo start showing some small signs.
I don't know what this team's problem is, but they lack the will to try on both sides of the ball and it's off-putting. Imagine having to literally beg all but one guy on a pro basketball team to shoot with some kind of confidence.
I am quite bored of their passing up open shots, failing to find the guy with the hot hand, fumbling rebounds off each other and over to the other team, missing shots at the rim because of awkward finesse layups, double-teaming nobodies and leaving star players open from 3, it's the same goofy stuff every game.

The problem is that we have a good team but they are a young team. They are a good core group that need another year or 2 of seasoning and a good power forward to be compe ive.
Losing close games is textbook "growing pains" part of having a young team. It'd be nice if a couple of our guys can take that next step and start turning some of these into Ws next year.
Other than Keldon and maybe Primo the entire team is physically weak. They get pushed around in every scrum. And Keldon is kind short for what they ask of him.
Spurs need to tank.. they need that 1st overall pick
DDR spread completely infected this roster with his anti-clutch gene before his exit.
this team is beyond ing abyssmal in the final minutes of every game. They are absolutely immune of winning close games and making pressure shots.
Just give us to more wins, get it over with, then the bed the rest of the season.......is that too much for the fans to ask? Apparently so
The way they ended the 3rd quarter sealed that loss in my mind. I knew after that we were losing this game. SMH
at the end of quarters and close games our team totally goes brain dead.
Man, these game threads have turned out depressing...
good loss boys
