Now that the question is just whether Putler takes the L quickly and tries to undo the economic damage, or, doubles down on stupid, drags this all the way, and takes the L later on at a much higher cost to him and Russia, what kind of off ramp can you realistically give this guy, if any?
Even if they take all the cities, they'll never control that country, short of full-on genocide of millions of people. Trying to keep control long-term is also going to be a ing nightmare, just from the logistics and troop deployment standpoint. And that doesn't even touch the economic disaster in Russia itself and the fact that he and his cronies are never going to leave that cuck shed, save for trips to China or India (and we'll see how those countries pivot over time).
Don't see an easy answer to this one, tbh, his manhood has already been taken from him, and it's only going to get worse the longer he sticks around there. Which I actually think will make him double down. Longer term, I don't see many roads here other than somebody internally offing him, offing himself or becoming China's little over time, which also is a giant humiliation for somebody that wanted to make Russia great again. China actually has all the incentives to convince him to stretch this, and end up assimilating a country with a small economy, but that can give them some control over oil and food production (which will dwindle over time, but probably will still be significant).

Ukraine will declare itself neutral and vow to not join NATO (they will have to enshrine this in their Cons ution), they will have to recognize Crimea and Donbass as separate lands.
