No, not really. They can keep bombing all the want, they don't have control of neither the city, roads or region for that matter.
You're not stipulating nary a measure on this one, El?

All these attacks do is brew more fundamentalists in the Ukranian side, happy to get moar guns against the invader.

I will give Putler credit for actually attacking a military target this time though. Took a while, but looks like they finally found their way to a base.

...nonsense, he's been hitting military targets since Day 1...State run media CNN by command out of D.C., took the civilian tact simultaneously from Day 1. But I'll give credit to Putin, he doesn't dispute it like say I would. No sense. Just go about your business.

Dutch Foreign Legion fighters wounded in Russian missile attack in western Ukraine

An unknown number of Dutch citizens were injured on Sunday after Russian forces attacked a military base in Yavoriv, Ukraine. About 30 missiles were fired at the training camp outside of Lviv killing at least 35 people and injuring many others, the BBC reported based on statements from the local governor. The camp is less than 25 kilometers from the border with Poland.

Before reports of Dutch injuries surfaced, Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Sunday said that Russia’s attack on a military training center near the Polish border is extremely worrying. The prime minister was a guest on the television program WNL op Zondag, along with NATO Military Committee chairman Admiral Rob Bauer, who called the attack a “clear signal” to the West.

Both men, however, agreed that there are no signs that Russia intends to attack a NATO territory. Russia is not seeking to make NATO an opponent, Bauer said.

"They are really staying away from us at the moment,” Bauer said. “While they normally have a somewhat more aggressive at ude towards NATO.”

Can you imagine me in there? LOL. I just wouldn't leave. I'd grab the cookies (they always looked so delicious), lay down on the couch and watch rasslin', or, PBA bowling. "You have to leave, Dale."

US officials say Russia has asked China for military help in Ukraine

Russia has asked China for military equipment to support its invasion of Ukraine, according to US officials, sparking concern in the White House that Beijing may undermine western efforts to help Ukrainian forces defend their country.

US officials told the Financial Times that Russia had requested military equipment and other assistance since the start of the invasion. They declined to give details about what Russia had requested.

Another person familiar with the situation said the US was preparing to warn its allies, amid some indications that China may be preparing to help Russia. Other US officials have said there were signs that Russia was running out of some kinds of weaponry as the war in Ukraine extends into its third week.

The White House did not comment.

Liu Pengyu, the Chinese embassy spokesperson in Washington, said he was unaware of any suggestions that China might be willing to help Russia.

“China is deeply concerned and grieved on the Ukraine situation,” Liu said. “We sincerely hope that the situation will ease and peace will return at an early date.”

The revelation comes as Jake Sullivan, US national security adviser, heads to Rome for talks on Monday with Yang Jiechi, China’s top foreign policy official.

Before leaving Washington on Sunday, Sullivan warned China not to try to “bail out” Russia by helping Moscow to cir vent the sanctions that the US and its allies have imposed on President Vladimir Putin and his regime.

"We will ensure that neither China, nor anyone else, can compensate Russia for these losses,” Sullivan told NBC television on Sunday. “In terms of the specific means of doing that, again, I’m not going to lay all of that out in public, but we will communicate that privately to China, as we have already done and will continue to do.”

The apparent request for equipment and other kinds of unspecified military assistance comes as the Russian military struggles to make as much progress in Ukraine as western intelligence believe they expected.

It also raises fresh questions about the China-Russia relationship, which has grown increasingly strong as both countries express their opposition to the US over everything from Nato to sanctions.

China has portrayed itself as a neutral actor in the Ukraine crisis and has refused to condemn Russia for invading the country. The US has also seen no sign that Chinese president Xi Jinping is willing to put any pressure on Putin.

The two leaders signed a joint statement in Beijing last month describing the Beijing-Moscow partnership as having “no limits”, in another sign that the two capitals were drawing even closer together.
